“The Young and the Restless” spoilers for Tuesday, September 22, tease that Devon (Bryton James) will demand to know why Neil (Kristoff St. John) is at the lake house. Neil will reply that he planned on making it Hilary’s (Mishael Morgan) dream home and he wants to follow through on that promise. Neil will add that doing this for Hilary and Devon will help him let go of the past. Devon will seem touched and hug his father.
Gwen (Nadine Nicole) will arrive and Neil will be furious that she followed him. Neil will shout that things are over between them. After Gwen leaves, Devon will follow after her and apologize for what happened. Gwen will hint that she’s willing to overlook Neil’s mistakes because she’s falling in love with him.
Back at the lake house, Neil will tell an unconscious Hilary that he should have just left her in the water after her fall in Virgin Gorda. Neil will grab the IV bag and begins to murder his ex-wife – stopping the dripping for a moment, but he’ll reconsider. Neil will tearfully tell Hilary that he’s sorry for all of this. Neil is losing his mind – might we see him join Patty and Sharon in Fairview soon?
Other “Young and the Restless” spoilers reveal that Stitch (Sean Carrigan) will urge Abby (Melissa Ordway) to take him up on his offer. Abby will say she’ll go to Europe, but she wants to see how the quarterly report turns out first. When Abby shows up for her meeting, she’ll get the news that the sales numbers for Chelsea’s (Melissa Claire Egan) line have gone way down.
However, the numbers for Brash and Sassy have increased. Abby will realize it’s not a coincidence and she’ll accuse Victoria (Amelia Heinle) of sabotaging her. Abby will add that she didn’t sign on for this sibling rivalry when she agreed to work at Newman Enterprises. Nick (Joshua Morrow) will think the changes have something to do with the recent cyber hack. If they just let the hacker do his thing, they might be able to catch him or her when they least expect it.
Abby will return to Stitch in a lousy mood and gripe about him distracting her from work. Now the numbers are down for Chelsea’s line. Stitch will accuse Abby of being obsessed with her job and never paying attention to him, oh poor boy. Abby will indicate that Stitch should enjoy his trip and his life without her. Stitch will shout that it’s fine by him. They’ll angrily agree that they’re done. Won’t Ashley be pleased!
Meanwhile, Adam (Justin Hartley) will think Ian (Ray Wise) is out of his mind for moving across the hall. Ian will believe that this will help their situation. They don’t have to meet in pubic anymore. Ian will want Adam to introduce him to his family, but Adam won’t think that’s a good idea at all. Ian is unlike any other character to ever grace a soap.
Talk will turn to the Paragon Project and Adam will express concern over the focus shifting to Brash and Sassy. Ian will reply that he kept his word about protecting Chelsea 2.0, but Adam will still hate that Victoria has to go down. Adam will wonder if there’s a way to leave both Chelsea and Victoria out of it. Ian will declare that Adam has to decide what he wants more: his perfect family or revenge on Victor (Eric Braeden). Adam doesn’t seem to get it – there is no war without blood and collateral damage.
Elsewhere, Victor will tell Marisa (Sofia Pernas) that she has 48 hours to get rid of Luca (Miles Gaston Villanueva). After that, Victor will be forced to take action. Marisa will feel guilty about keeping secrets from Noah (Robert Adamson), but she won’t want to hurt him. Later, Noah will hint that Marisa and Luca must think he’s a sucker. Noah will suggest that he’s not an idiot and he knows that Marisa is the wife Luca came to town looking for.
At Sage (Kelly Sullivan) and Nick’s place, Sage will lean over in intense pain and pass out. When she wakes up, Victor will be there trying to assist her. Sage will be startled and shout that she doesn’t need Victor’s help. It’s clear that Sage is still worried about Victor trying to take control of her child. Y&R rumors say that the birth of Sage’s baby won’t go off without a hitch. Stick with CDL for updates on the trouble that lies ahead.
