“The Young and the Restless” spoilers reveal that Sage (Kelly Sullivan) is about to get a big surprise and it won’t be a pleasant one. We don’t know for sure what shock Sage is in for, but there’s a good chance it could have something to do with her paternity test results. Sage has been trying to convince herself that her baby is absolutely and positively Nick’s (Joshua Morrow), but we all know that’s probably wishful thinking. If a soap character wants something, he or she rarely gets it.
Y&R spoilers say Sage will soon feel like her life is falling apart. It sounds like Sage may learn that she’s having a child with the wrong Newman. If Adam (Justin Hartley) is indeed the “baby daddy,” Sage may eventually have to explain her many betrayals. First, Sage lied to Nick about Gabriel’s (Justin Hartley) true identity. Nick will be furious when he learns that Sage was involved in an elaborate scheme to pass off Adam as Gabe. Even if Sage manages to talk (i.e. lie) her way out of this by claiming she had no clue, she’ll still have to deal with the fact that she slept with Adam. Sure, Sage and Nick were on a break, but that probably won’t make any difference.
Sage’s miracle baby may belong to the brother Nick despises. Nick won’t care how it happened or what circumstances led to it. This might be a deal breaker for Nick. It could be hard for Nick to stand by and help raise this child knowing what he knows. Of course, Nick will have to get updates on the paternity test first. It’s not clear how the truth will be revealed, but you can bet that it will ultimately come out.
In addition, we have to remember that there’s a suspected baby swap brewing. Some “Young and the Restless” rumors have been hinting that Sharon (Sharon Case) could somehow end up with Sage’s child. Some of those rumors point to a miscarriage for Sharon, which means she could steal Sage’s baby after losing her own. It’s also possible that there could be some sort of mix-up that leads to a DNA test to discover the true parentage. Could this mess be what leads the rest of Genoa City to learn Gabriel’s true identity? It’s certainly an option. Stay tuned to “The Young and the Restless” for all the baby drama to come.
