The Young and the Restless spoilers look at rumors that Sharon will face serious issues this Fall, possibly as soon as the week of August 24, and that Dylan is involved. The Young and the Restless fans are bracing themselves for Sharon (Sharon Case) to come apart at the seams again. It seems the writers love to write Sharon as a crazy basket case, so fans knew in time she would be in trouble, yet again. The fall Y&R previews state that tragedy hits Sharon again and Dylan (Steve Burton) is forced to be her savior. It is looking like the rumor about Sharon’s miscarriage may be true based on Dylan’s confrontation with Harding – as the August 21 episode closes shots are fired in the standoff between Paul, Dylan and a desperate Harding – Sharon who is watching a surveillance monitor at the GC cop shop freaks as her baby daddy is possibly shot in the melee. If Sharon miscarries as a result of the stress and shock she may kidnap Sage’s baby and try to pass the child as hers.
Update: Sad news, Y&R fans – Sharon DOES have a miscarriage after the shooting incident as you will see on the Monday, August 24 episode of The Young and the Restless.
Sharon has had her share of mental breakdowns. In order to explain her character and tendency to lose her mind occasionally, they wrote in the script that Sharon has Bipolar Disorder (BPD). It seemed like at the time, the perfect way to explain why she would burn down Victor’s home. Long-time fans have not been impressed with the way the show has displayed mental illness. As with many illnesses on the show, it could have been written more accurately.
The fall previews state that Sharon will suffer another tragedy. It looks like she will have a miscarriage and try to steal Sage (Kelly Sullivan’s) child. The Y&R spoiler stated that Sharon will hide her miscarriage from Dylan and led him to believe she is still expecting. Sharon’s behavior has been slowly becoming alarming, subtle changes, but the warning signs are there. She had to stop taking her bipolar medicine due to her pregnancy, and the result is her mental illness creeping back trying to control her actions. Is it possible that she will get away with the kidnapping due to the fact she is not well?
The Young and the Restless fall preview also said there is a mystery involved to the storyline and Dylan will have to figure it out to save Sharon. What kind of mystery could be involved? It can’t be a baby kidnapping yet. Sage won’t be ready to have her baby until December or later, most likely. Maybe, Sharon knows that Gabriel (Justin Hartley) is Adam (Just Hartley) and figured out that Sage helped him come back with a reconstructed face. November sweeps starts on October 29. Do you think Sharon could know that Gabriel is Adam? And, if so – could she know that Sage helped him reclaim his life?
