“The Young and the Restless” spoilers for Monday, September 28, tease that shocking discoveries and unexpected consequences are in store for residents of Genoa City on Y&R. Expect that the Abbotts will find themselves in deep trouble. Jack (Peter Bergman) warned Ashley (Eileen Davidson) that Victor (Eric Braeden) would retaliate after they bought the shipping line that mistakenly went up for sale.
It looks like Ashley should’ve listened. Victor will call in the feds to take care of the issue. Victor will demand that the FBI start making some arrests, but they’ll need to conduct an investigation first. The IRS intends on auditing Jabot. Naturally, this will send the Abbotts into panic mode.
We’ll learn that Ashley has flown to Europe and left Billy (Burgess Jenkins) to hold down the fort. This was probably the worst possible time for Ashley to leave town. Since Ashley is CEO, it makes the Abbotts look incredibly guilty. People could easily assume that Ashley authorized a shady purchase and then hopped a plane out of the country to avoid any consequences. Jack will try to get Victor to back down, but there’s no stopping him now.
Victor believes the Abbotts are behind the Paragon Project and he wants every last one of them to pay. Unfortunately, Billy may be the first one affected by Victor’s cutthroat plan. By the end of the episode, the police will show up to arrest Billy for his involvement in this mess. It sounds like Jabot is dealing with a full-blown crisis.
In addition to the Abbott calamity, we’ll see a huge secret come to light with unimaginably vast consequences. “The Young and the Restless” spoilers reveal that Phyllis (Gina Tognoni) will get a call from “Fred” (Ray Wise). Since Phyllis has been growing suspicious of Fred lately, she’ll decide to meet up with him in the park to fish for information. Phyllis will bring up how stressed she’s been thanks to the cyberattack on Newman Enterprises and possibly Jabot.
Phyllis will add that it’s odd how Fred popped up right around the time the Paragon threat emerged. Fred will act hurt that Phyllis would think such a thing when he’s just a poor, grieving widower. Ian (Ray Wise) will really lay it on thick. Phyllis will admit Fred’s been kind to her since they met. They’ll agree to keep in touch and Fred will head on his way.
As Phyllis is leaving the park, she’ll run into Summer (Hunter King), who was watching from nearby. Summer will question why Phyllis was meeting with that psycho. Phyllis will reply that it’s her friend, but Summer will give her the news that she’s been chatting with Ian Ward. Summer knows better than anyone how deranged Ian is and she’ll shout that he’s supposed to be in prison right now. Phyllis will look at Summer in shock.
Adam (Justin Hartley) knew it was a bad idea for Ian to get too close to Phyllis. Y&R rumors hint that the Paragon Project is about to explode and major conflict is brewing between Adam (Justin Hartley) and Ian. Stick with the CBS soap for updates on the aftermath of this devious plot.
