“The Young and the Restless” spoilers for Monday, April 27, tease that Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) will press Phyllis (Gina Tognoni) to tell her what she knows about the merger. Phyllis will admit that the whole deal could be an act and she’ll suggest they put it to the test. Phyllis will set up a dinner to celebrate the fact that Jack (Peter Bergman) and Victor (Eric Braeden) are putting their grudges behind them. In the meantime, Jack’s doppelganger will be busy causing more trouble. Victor will catch fake Jack trying to order a Ferrari and he’ll urge him to stop raising red flags. They’ll also talk to Neil (Kristoff St. John) about becoming the chief financial officer at Newman Abbott. Neil will wonder if fake Jack is OK with the idea since he’s had problems with it in the past. Fake Jack won’t remember, but Victor will try to cover up the mistake. Later, fake Jack and Victor will discuss the dinner Phyllis has planned. Victor will be afraid that fake Jack will slip up and he’ll order him to behave.
As they prepare for dinner, Phyllis will set the table with orchids and push Jack to explain the significance. Fake Jack will fumble for a moment, but he’ll save himself by making a long speech about Victor saving his life. Fake Jack will discuss sharing a room at the hospital with Victor and add that his new motivation is love rather than destruction. Nikki and Phyllis will be on board with a fresh start. When they’re alone, Victor will praise fake Jack for putting on a good show. Fake Jack will tell him to stop threatening to send him back to Peru and then he’ll duck out to finishing ordering the Ferrari.
Other “Young and the Restless” spoilers hint that Hilary (Mishael Morgan) will urge Devon (Bryton James) to remember what they had together. The pair will begin to kiss, but Hilary will stop herself from moving too fast. Meanwhile, Neil will tell Gwen (Nadine Nicole) that she was too good at pretending to date Devon. Later, Neil will apologize and talk about how Hilary is such a manipulator. When Neil sees Devon and Hilary together, Devon will say it’s not what it looks like and indicate that he doesn’t want to lose the progress he’s made in his relationship with Neil. Neil will say that his new job as CFO at will force him to work closely with Hilary and Gwen.
At Crimson Lights, Noah (Robert Adamson) will tell Nick (Joshua Morrow) that Courtney’s (Kelli Goss) parents don’t like the idea of him coming to the funeral because of Sharon (Sharon Case). A reporter will question Nick about Sharon being a murderer and Faith (Aly Lind) will wonder if he’s talking about her mommy. Nick will get agitated and punch the reporter outside. It sounds like the stress is really starting to get to Nick.
At Sharon’s house, Avery (Jessica Collins) will urge Michael (Christian LeBlanc) to go to the hospital. Michael will agree, but he’ll say they shouldn’t bother Lauren (Tracey E. Bregman). Avery will call Lauren anyway and she’ll barge into Michael’s room demanding answers for why he’s been avoiding her. Michael will snap that Lauren has been suffocating him and treating him like an invalid. Michael will say he wants a separation, but Lauren will protest that she doesn’t want him to give up. Michael will explain that he needs room to breathe and Lauren will agree to give him some space. Looks like Michael and Lauren will separate. Lauren will tearfully tell Michael goodnight and he’ll respond with goodbye.
Dylan (Steve Burton) will finish up his chat with Joe (Scott Elrod). Dylan will let Joe know that guilt won’t make Avery stay with him. Later, Avery will talk to Dylan about everything getting back to normal. Avery will say Dylan is the love of her life and the phone will ring with news from the hospital. It looks like Avery will be leaving for Chicago sooner than planned.
Back at Sharon’s, Noah and Faith will stop by. Sharon will try to explain the murder charges against her. Faith will listen as Sharon says she’d never hurt Austin (Matthew Atkinson), but someone is trying to make it look like she did. Noah will take Faith home and Nick will arrive to yell at Sharon about the pain she’s putting their children through. Sharon will mention Sondra getting paralyzed and indicate that Nick is as much to blame for making life hard on their kids. Nick will say that he knows what Sharon is capable of, but Dylan will show up and tell him to stop. Nick will question why Dylan is so invested in Sharon. Dylan will say that he doesn’t like that Sharon is being blamed for her actions while she was ill. Nick will storm out and Dylan will try to console Sharon.
