“The Young and the Restless” spoilers for Monday, June 1, reveal that Chelsea (Melissa Claire Egan) will accuse Gabriel (Justin Hartley) of sounding remarkably like Adam. Gabriel will reply that he can’t be Adam, but he can strive to be better. Chelsea will insist that statement still sounds like something Adam would say and she’ll urge Gabriel to stop trying to take Adam’s place. Chelsea will add that Gabe isn’t acting like the old Gabriel she’s heard about and wonder what changed him. Gabriel will finally declare that he’s done competing with Billy (Burgess Jenkins) as well as Adam’s ghost. Gabe will say that he loves Chelsea and she knows where to find him when she’s ready to move on.
Meanwhile, Jack’s (Peter Bergman) doppelganger will annoy Victor (Eric Braeden) by teasing him with the information he’s uncovered about Gabriel. Eventually, fake Jack will admit that he knows who Gabriel’s father is. Victor will listen closely as fake Jack says Gabriel is Jack’s son. Victor will be astonished by the news, but fake Jack will say that the signs were there all along. Fake Jack will assure Victor that he’s a team player. However, it seems fake Jack is playing a very dangerous game by deceiving the master. Things could get ugly if fake Jack isn’t careful.
Later, Victor will fish for info about Gabriel’s secret from Sage (Kelly Sullivan). Gabriel will see them talking and he’ll interrupt. Gabe will try to discourage Victor from harassing pregnant women. Victor will hint that Gabriel should tell him something about his father the next time they meet. Gabriel will look worried and he’ll have a chat with Sage about it. Sage will say that Victor seems too curious about Gabriel’s dad. When Gabe and Victor see each other at the athletic club, Victor will admit that he knows who Gabriel’s father is. It sounds like this could get pretty interesting. Victor thinks Jack is Gabriel’s father and Gabe believes Victor knows he’s actually Adam. What will happen when they get updates on the truth? The rumors say a showdown is brewing and Y&R fans won’t want to miss it.
Other “Young and the Restless” spoilers indicate that Dylan (Steve Burton) and Avery (Jessica Collins) will argue about Sharon (Sharon Case). It’s easy to see that Avery isn’t happy about them being together. Of course, Dylan isn’t too happy about Joe (Scott Elrod) being in Avery’s life either. Word has it that Avery could soon want Dylan back. Nevertheless, Dylan and Avery are “Splitsville” for now and it will have them at odds during the custody meeting. Avery will imply that it isn’t safe for Faith (Aly Lind) to stay with Sharon overnight, but Dylan will argue that Sharon’s a good mom and she won’t be alone. Nick (Joshua Morrow) will say that he’s OK with the decision and the mediator will agree to take their proposal to the judge. Sharon will express her gratitude to Dylan and he’ll assure her that he plans on sticking around.
On the cargo ship, a woman named Marisa (Sofia Pernas) will find Jack and assume he’s Marco. Marisa will kiss Jack passionately and he’ll ask for her help. When Marisa leaves to look for the key to free him, shots will ring out and Jack will hear a scream. The drug smuggler will come in and say that he won’t be betrayed. Jack will be concerned that Marisa has been killed, but she’ll return and suggest they still have hope. However, Marisa will demand that “Marco” answer her questions before she gets him out of there. Jack could run into trouble if Marisa learns he isn’t who she thinks he is. Stay tuned to the CBS soap to see if Jack will be able to say what Marisa wants to hear.
