“The Young and the Restless” spoilers for Friday, June 19, tease that Phyllis (Gina Tognoni) will question Jack’s (Peter Bergman) doppelganger about the possibility that Victor (Eric Braeden) would try to take his life. Fake Jack will admit that Victor might kill him and he’ll add that he can’t give any details about what’s going on at the company. Talk will turn to how Kyle (Lachlan Buchanan) will take the news that fake Jack is Gabriel’s (Justin Hartley) father.
Meanwhile, Summer (Hunter King), Abby (Melissa Ordway) and Noah (Robert Adamson) will spend some time with Victor for Father’s Day. Nick (Joshua Morrow) will also join their celebration at the athletic club. Abby will give everyone updates on Gabriel being fake Jack’s son. Nick will say he doesn’t think Sage had a clue. After Nick leaves, they’ll all discuss the cabin killer. Victor will warn the gang to let the police take care of it.
At the police staton, Paul (Doug Davidson) and Christine (Laralee Bell) will lament that Father’s Day has reminded them of the loss of their child. Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) will show up with an apology for Christine. Paul will excuse himself to see Kyle, who says it’s urgent. Nikki will say she’s sorry about the accident and the lies that followed. Christine will agree to forgive her and put the past behind them. When Paul gets back, Christine will question him about what was up with Kyle. Christine will ask it if was about Austin (Matthew Atkinson) and Courtney’s (Kelli Goss) murders, but Paul will say Kyle approached him about another matter.
Victoria (Amelia Heinle) will meet with Billy (Burgess Jenkins) at Crimson Lights so they can all celebrate Father’s Day. They’ll talk about the war between the Abbotts and the Newmans. Billy will mention Gabriel being fake Jack’s son and he’ll indicate that he’s upset he wasn’t told sooner. Victoria will hint that Billy should stay on the right path and try to avoid following Jack’s lead.
At Chelsea’s (Melissa Claire Egan) apartment, Gabriel will be concerned that he caused Chelsea to cry. Chelsea will say that it’s really because Connor (Michael and Nolan Webb) drew a picture for Billy at preschool. It’ll remind Chelsea that she tried to let Billy take Adam’s (Justin Hartley) place. Chelsea will wonder what explanation she’ll give for everything down the road. Gabriel will offer some comforting words and he’ll start to get emotional. Chelsea will wonder why he’s taking this so hard. Gabe will reply that he can understand Adam’s point of view. Chelsea will bring up Gabe’s recent lies and she’ll wonder if he’ll continue to deceive her. Gabriel will insist that he’ll be honest. When Billy drops by, he’ll love the picture Connor drew and he’ll start playing with him. As Gabriel leaves, he’ll declare that Connor needs a father who will always be there for him.
Other “Young and the Restless” spoilers reveal that Marisa (Sofia Pernas) will return to Jack with some pain medication and a phone with a low battery. Since the phone only has enough power for one call, Jack will say they need to call his family in Genoa City. At the athletic club, Nikki will join the Father’s Day celebration, but things will remain tense with Victor. Nearby, Phyllis will ask Summer to help Kyle understand the situation with fake Jack and Gabriel.
Kyle will lash out at fake Jack for keeping him in the dark about Gabe being his half-brother. Kyle will add that he just turned Victor in embezzlement, but Gabriel can do fake Jack’s dirty work in the future. Fake Jack will say Kyle’s the only one he can trust. When fake Jack’s phone rings, he’ll answer it by saying “Jack Abbott.” Marisa will recognize Marco’s (aka fake Jack’s) voice and she’ll lie about the real Jack’s death. Fake Jack will say he’ll send her some money to get her to Genoa City. Jack will be furious that someone is posing as him and he’ll vow to get back home.
After Victor states his plans for a family trip to Hawaii, fake Jack will smugly suggest that he wants him to get what he deserves. Suddenly, Paul will arrive and make an arrest. It looks like Victor is going down for embezzlement, but Y&R rumors say Jack’s return could shake things up. Stick with the CBS soap to see if Jack’s arrival will mess up fake Jack’s scheme.
