“The Young and the Restless” spoilers for Monday, July 13, tease that Avery (Jessica Collins) will show up at Joe’s (Scott Elrod) door and he’ll invite her in. Joe will suggest they can talk through everything, but Avery will pull Dylan’s (Steve Burton) gun on him and say that he’s not getting away with this. Joe will insist he’s innocent, but Avery will demand that he confess the truth.
Dylan and Sharon (Sharon Case) will hurry to see Paul (Doug Davidson) at the police station. Paul will let them know that they caught a guy wearing a ski mask as he was assaulting someone. The police believe he was the one who raped Avery. Dylan will realize that this puts Joe in the clear. Paul will be glad that they told him about the missing gun, but Dylan will worry Paul will get to Avery too late.
Back at Joe’s place, Avery will coax a confession out of him just before Dylan arrives. Avery will shout that Joe just confessed to raping her, but Dylan will say Joe wasn’t the rapist. Dylan will try to get her to calm down, but she’ll end up shooting into the ceiling. Paul will rush in and explain that they caught the real perpetrator. They have the evidence they need. Avery will burst into tears and Dylan will pull her close. Based on the preview for Tuesday’s episode, it seems Paul will plan on arresting Avery.
At the hospital, Phyllis (Gina Tognoni) will walk in to Jack’s (Peter Bergman) room to find Marisa (Sofia Pernas) by his bedside. Phyllis will suspect that Victor (Eric Braeden) sent Marisa there to finish Jack off. Marisa will say no just as Noah (Robert Adamson) pops in. Noah will say he heard the news that Marisa cut her hand. Phyllis will realize Marisa is indeed hurt and she’ll apologize.
When Noah exits with Marisa, Phyllis will Jack if Marisa knows him. Jack will squeeze her hand once for yes. Phyllis will ask more questions and she’ll learn that Victor didn’t lure Jack to the park to kill him. Phyllis will wonder who Victor went to see and she’ll put a pen in his hand to write down the name. Jack will appear to write the number two and Phyllis will look confused.
Other “Young and the Restless” spoilers reveal that Gabriel (Justin Hartley) will have a meeting with Victoria (Amelia Heinle), Nick (Joshua Morrow) and Billy (Burgess Jenkins). Chelsea (Melissa Claire Egan) will join them as well. They’ll argue about a new mission statement for Newman-Abbott. Chelsea will say that they’re a new company for a new generation. Gabriel will think that’s just the slogan they need.
Once everyone else is gone, Chelsea will comment on how well Gabe seems to know everyone. Gabriel will say he’s done his homework. Gabe will get a call from Sage (Kelly Sullivan) about Michael (Christian LeBlanc). Michael’s been asking questions about Gabriel’s vendetta against Victor and about the way Gabe fell off the grid for a year. As Sage is trying to warn Gabriel, Michael will show up and hint that Gabe’s credibility is being questioned. Meanwhile, Nick, Billy and Victoria will chat about their suspicions regarding Gabriel.
After Michael leaves, Chelsea will start asking questions, but Gabe will insist that she knows what she needs to know. One thing will lead to another and they’ll end up making love in the office. When they’re done, Chelsea will leave the room. Gabriel will turn to Victor’s portrait and allude to the fact that the son Victor despises has taken over his company. Gabe will propose a toast to himself and he’ll mention the fact that he’s Adam Newman. A dropped glass will shatter and Gabriel will turn around to see Chelsea standing there in shock. It looks like Adam has some explaining to do. Y&R rumors hint that some explosive scenes are ahead. Stick with the CBS soap to watch Chelsea get updates on the truth.
