“The Young and the Restless” spoilers tease that Valentine’s Day will be a holiday to remember on the CBS soap, but aside from the tragic plane crash that is set to kill off at least one character – there will be an intriguing mystery as well. According to Y&R spoilers, Summer (Hunter King), Austin, Mariah, and Kevin will find themselves at a Valentine’s Day “party” thrown by an anonymous host, and naturally shenanigans will ensue. On the bright side, if they are at said Valentine’s Day party, perhaps they won’t be injured in the plane crash and building collapse that is set to occur in Genoa City.
“The Young and the Restless” spoilers in the February 16th edition of Soap Opera Digest tease, “Mariah finds an invitation to a Valentine’s Day Party at the Underground addressed to her and Kevin. They assume the location is the Abbott Cabin, so they assume someone from the family is the host, however that may not be the case. Mariah (Camryn Grimes) assumes Summer is responsible, until she and Austin arrive and Summer insists she didn’t plan the gathering. Austin then mentions that they received the same invite. What the foursome doesn’t notice is that they are being watched form the stairs.”
When we first heard this Y&R spoiler about the “mystery Valentine’s Day party” at the Abbott house, we automatically assumed that Kyle Abbott would be involved – coming and going news have already confirmed that Lachlan Buchannan is debuting as Kyle in February. But Lachlan doesn’t make his debut until February 25th, which is still nearly two weeks away. And if Kyle was responsible, why would he invite Mariah to a party, he doesn’t even know who she is? Which leads us to possibility number two – Ian Ward.
“The Young and the Restless” spoilers and rumors have been teasing for a few weeks now that Ian Ward could be returning to Genoa City to wreak some more havoc – and he has a connection to both Mariah and Summer. Throwing an anonymous Valentine’s Day party to get Summer and Mariah and the men in their lives alone in a remote cabin is exactly something that Ian Ward will do. The foursome may miss the plane crash and Underground collapse – but it sounds like they could be in just as serious danger.
