Theresa Giudice has been fired permanently from The Real Housewives of New Jersey and will not be returning to the show for Season 7. The Real Housewives of New Jersey is in upheaval after their biggest star, Teresa Giudice, got sent to jail for fifteen months. Teresa committed fraud so she definitely deserved the imprisonment, but it’s left the Real Housewives of New Jersey in a little bit of a lurch.
According to Radar Online, Bravo has made the decision to keep filming RHONJ after firing Teresa, even though they were reportedly contemplating cancelling the show altogether. However, despite flagging ratings and a drop in interest after Teresa’s incarceration, Bravo is apparently planning to continue with the show, albeit with all new blood.
Radar’s source explains, “The show will absolutely go on without Teresa. Bravo isn’t expected to make it public until the end of February, but filming has been loosely scheduled for late April, early May. No formal dates have been made for filming to begin because producers are still looking for potential new cast members.”
And guess what? Casting’s already begun, so if you have big hair and are married to a ridiculously rich person and have too much time on your hands, here’s the opportunity of a lifetime. Christina Caparoula is reportedly casting the seventh season of RHONJ, and she even wrote on her Twitter, “Casting Season 7 of Real Housewives of New Jersey.” And who is she casting? Well, anybody who fits the description of, ‘CASTING FABULOUS FAMILIES OF NEW JERSEY!’
In other words, just look at Teresa Guidice’s family and if you resemble them in even the slightest manner, go for it. The report even adds that Bravo is planning to get rid of the some of the dead weight on the show, including getting rid of some of the newer girls, Teresa Aprea and Nicole Napolitano.
