Jamal sees enemies even when there aren’t any. And on tonight’s episode of “Tyrant” he’s come up with a plan to deal with his son Rami.

Rami, if you recall, hadn’t wanted any part of the family business or to merely be a part of the family. But he had a change of heart after they had come begging to him. They said they needed his military expertise and Jamal had told him that he wanted his son to be a part of his family.

However, it didn’t take long for Jamal to begin having doubts. And once he doubted his son’s allegiance, there was only one outcome.

So Jamal arranged for his son to be murdered and for it to look like it was the work of the caliphate. And truthfully the plan was simple. Rami was going to take his motorcade near a certain road and Jamal had arranged for a bomb to go off at a certain time.

But something went wrong. It wasn’t Rami that was caught in the explosion. It was Amira. Amira being Jamal’s mother who had at the last minute needed to go into town.

Molly had called Amira and had asked to meet her you see. She felt it was only right to tell Amira that her other son was till still alive. Yet was fearful about doing it over the phone where anyone could be listening in.

So a meeting was set up and Amira never made it. She was killed and, seeing his chance, Jamal decided to blame the murder on Rami. Then he had his son arrested on charges for attempted murder of the president and the murder of Amira Al-Fayeed.

That’s how paranoid he was of his son coveting his position.

Though the sad part is Rami never wanted to be president. And if anything, he coveted his brother’s soon to be ex-wife more than he did the presidency. For it looks like Rami and Nusrat have grown especially close since her miscarriage.

So close that Ahmed has taken notice of it and let his jealousy get out of hand. And even believed the trumped up charges against Rami. But Nusrat eventually told him about who his parents really are and, from there, that’s when Ahmed’s whole world began to unravel.

Ahmed found out that his annulment wasn’t his wife’s idea. It was actually his mother’s because she felt he needed an heir to continue the Al-Fayeed line. And once Ahmed knew his mother was capable of that – he asked about Rami.

And this time Leila couldn’t lie for her husband.

She didn’t want had honestly happened but there was a part of her that just knew Jamal was blaming Rami for his own actions. So Ahmed didn’t want to be near either of them. He told his mother that he was done with this family and he walked away from her despite her pleas for him to stay.

Though, without the love of her son, Leila knew she had to take drastic measures in order to win him back and save her country from the caliphate at the same time.

You see, Rami’s mercenaries had left the country now that he was no longer in charge. And with the unstable Jamal in control, Leila knew they couldn’t win the war alone. So Leila went down to Rami’s cells and she began coming up with a plan that would leave Ahmed as the new president and Rami as his general.

But, when the time to kill her own husband, Leila couldn’t do it.

She just froze and then she when she heard about Molly visiting the palace looking for Amira – she took that opportunity to avoid doing what needs to be done. However Molly saw for herself how much things have been falling apart under this new regime. And she demanded to know what happened.

THE END!
