There is a division in the WAGs set. The wives and fiancées hold themselves apart from the mere girlfriends. Not that they think they’re better but they sure act like that they do. And for the most part that’s the group that Barbie belonged to seeing as she is a fiancée. However, it was the girlfriends that followed Barbie down to Miami for her bachelorette party. So following the trip that’s who Barbie feels close to.
The trip was actually wild. Natalie and Olivia had made out though Nicole said she later talked it over with Larry and that he didn’t mind. So that should have been that but the other set of WAGs were kind of sitting in judgment. Autumn, Ashley, and Sasha weren’t buying the “I was drunk” excuse. They gossiped amongst themselves and said they would never do what Nicole did.
And they were also remembering what happened in Vegas. Nicole had given Ashley quite a lap dance so that plus the thing with Olivia made them look at her sideways.
They didn’t approve of the way she conducted her friendships and they made a point of saying to each other that they would never have disrespected their own relationships like that. But finding out that Nicole and Larry have threesomes as well just made her lose stock in their eyes. They felt she wasn’t at their level and that they didn’t have much in common with her.
Though they felt that way about Natalie too. Natalie expressed some concerns about her relationship and how she was hesitant to move in her boyfriend because she wasn’t sure she wanted to commit. And when she said she didn’t even know which team Shaun might get traded to, they looked at her as if she had broken the golden rule.
So the WAGS definitely had some clear lines drawn down the middle separating them. And poor Barbie was stuck in the middle. She liked hanging out with everyone so maybe that’s why she didn’t sense the tension that bubbling up but she did get caught in the crossfires when a fight did finally happen.
All the ladies went out to lunch together and at first it was fine. They were merely talking about what was going on in their lives when someone asked Natalie about Shaun. So the woman mentioned that she wasn’t sure about her relationship. He seemed to want a commitment and even push for one. But Natalie said she wasn’t sure if she wanted to get married.
And when she said that, it set Autumn off. She felt she should call Natalie out on her crap and he asked the other “woman well what are you doing then?”. Yet she refused to accept Natalie’s answer that marriage wasn’t something she actively strived for.
So Barbie tried to say that everyone handles their relationship differently but Autumn shut her down. She told Barbie that she didn’t have to step in for her new best friends. And then Autumn accused Natalie of having a fake relationship.
She said that Natalie was always off doing her thing and Shaun was left to go off by himself. So why bother calling what they had a relationship? And so of course Olivia was going to step in defend Natalie. She wasn’t afraid of Autumn and she didn’t mind getting loud if she had to.
But the ladies chose to call a halt when yelling wasn’t getting them anywhere. And when Sasha decided to experience some pain in her stomach.
Sasha soon had to leave the table because she wasn’t feeling well. And at 32 weeks into her pregnancy that wasn’t a good sign. So Sasha tried to relax and calm herself down but later she had to be admitted into the hospital after her water had broken.
The doctors eventually put her on bed rest. Though, lucky for her, her son being born two weeks later doesn’t appear to have caused any long-term effects. The little baby boy only had to stay on at the hospital for an extra ten days but otherwise the doctors felt he was healthy enough to go home.
Elsewhere, however, Olivia looks like she finally ran into boyfriend potential. She was at a pre- Espy party and her friends kept trying to introduce to guys they were running into. Yet Olivia wasn’t really feeling it with any of their choices so she kept looking until she found a guy for herself. And afterwards she went on a pretty good first date.
So at the end of this episode, the WAGs were left in a pretty good place.
