There is reportedly $400 million at stake in Johnny Depp’s divorce from Amber Heard. New photos have been released by Amber who filed for divorce on Monday, May 23, just three days after the death of Johnny’s mother.
People obtained exclusive photos of previous facial injuries Amber Heard claims to have suffered at the hands of Johnny Depp violence and has published them in its most recent issue.
In the initial divorce filing Amber cited irreconcilable differences and asked for spousal support. Amber was granted a temporary restraining order on Friday, May 27 after claiming in court documents that Johnny abused her. Photos then surfaced showing bruises to Amber’s face.
Also included in this report is statement from the Los Angeles Police Department saying that officers responded to a 911 call on Saturday, May 21 but found “no evidence of any crime.” Amber Heard’s attorneys revealed that at the time Amber did not make a statement to the police in order to “protect her privacy and Johnny’s career.”
Regarding the incident, Amber Heard now plans to make a statement and but “hopes to give the LAPD the opportunity to conduct an accurate and complete investigation.” However TMZ published a clear report June 1 showing that the police officers who responded to the 911 call found absolutely nothing to indicate that Amber was injured nor that a crime had been committed.
At this time People reports that Johnny Depp’s representatives have not responded to the magazine’s request for comment regarding the photographs or Amber’s abuse allegations.
The article revealed that Johnny’s divorce attorney Laura Wasser filed court documents stating that
Amber is “attempting to secure a premature financial resolution by alleging abuse.”
Other allegations being made, according to the most recent cover of InTouch Weekly, is that during the couple’s four year relationship there were cocaine brawls, blackmail and a secret video. The magazine also alleges this will be the $400 million divorce from hell.
On Sunday, May 29 TMZ published what appears to be a handwritten note from Johnny’s ex Vanessa Paradis in which she states the “recent allegations being made are outrageous.” The letter is dated Friday, May 27.
On Thursday, May 26 a representative for Johnny Depp did issue a statement that reads, in part, “Johnny will not respond to any of the salacious false stories, gossip, misinformation and lies about his personal life. Hopefully the dissolution of this short marriage will be resolved quickly.”
