On tonight’s show as per the ABC synopsis, “a bachelorette decides to leave Paradise after a confrontation with a jealous woman. Meanwhile, a passive bachelor takes control of his heart and decides to leave to pursue love with his Paradise connection, which leaves a jealous woman shocked and tearful that her plan to get rid of her competition backfired.”

Tonight’s episode of Bachelor In Paradise kicks off where we left off last week – Caila sits Jared down and tells him that she doesn’t want to be in Paradise if Ashley is there too, apparently her last chat with Ashley really upset her. Caila heads to her room to pack.
Jared goes and finds Ashley and confronts her, Ashley sobs and tries to tell Jared that deep down inside she knows Caila doesn’t love him. Jared says goodbye to Ashley and everyone else and announced that he is going with Caila. He chases her car down the driveway, and hops in with her and they exit paradise together.
Everyone in Paradise is shocked by Caila and Jared’s sudden departure, of course, they don’t have a lot of time to let it sink in because they have to comfort Ashley. She cries to Carly and Evan that she just lost her best friend. Then she suddenly turns off the tears and announces that she is going to “move on” and go put makeup on for when Wells returns from his date with Jami.
Hours later Wells and Jami finally return. Ashley isn’t too thrilled when she sees Wells and Jami are holding hands. Wells and Jami rave about their date and tell everyone how much fun they had and what they did.
Wells takes Ashley aside, he apologizes to her for leaving and going on a date with Jami without even telling her. Meanwhile, Jami chats with Jen and Nick and tells her how much she likes Wells, Jami is certain that Wells is totally over Ashley and she isn’t going to have any competition.
The next morning, Ashley and Jami are both excited to hang out with Wells. Ashley is determined to steal him back. But, her plan goes awry when there are two more new arrivals in Paradise. Shushanna, and Lauren H. from Ben Higgins’ season of The Bachelor arrive and they have a date card to take two guys on a double date. Shushanna and Lauren invite Brett and Wells to go with them – they happily accept. Jami, Ashley, and Izzy are all stuck in paradise while their guys are on dates for the day – and they aren’t too happy about it. Wells, Brett,
Wells, Brett, and the new girls head out on their date, they spend the afternoon on the beach learning how to surf with an instructor. Wells didn’t think that he was going to be attracted to Shushanna, but that turned out not to be the case. After a few hours together, Wells develops a huge crush on her, and refers to her as his “Sexy Bond Girl.”
Meanwhile, back in Paradise, Nick Viall is trying to comfort Ashley, who is just a few minutes away from another meltdown. She’s not happy that Wells went out on ANOTHER date, Nick tries to explain to her that she needs to play it cool, no guy likes clingy or crazy girls.
There is still some awkwardness between Amanda and Josh after his big blow-up with Nick last night. Luckily, Amanda gets surprised with a date card – it says, “You deserve this, Look to the stars.” Of course, she asks Josh to go with her, she is hoping that this date with Josh will solve any issues they still have.
Amanda and Josh head out to have a romantic dinner together, Josh continues to put all of the blame on Nick, he says that he was trying to sabotage their relationship because he was jealous. Amanda is buying it – hook, line, and sinker. She promises Josh that she won’t let anyone come between them again. They top off their dinner with a fireworks show, and Amanda announces that Josh is perfect for her, and she is in love with him.
Back at Paradise, Wells returns from his double date – Jami grabs him and they head to the beach to make out. Ashley finds out that Wells already has made out with Shushanna and Jami today. But, she still invites him to go sit by the pool with her. They have an awkward conversation, and Ashley kisses him too. Wells is a hot mess, he has no idea which girl he is going to give his rose to tomorrow.
