On tonight’s BB18 as per the CBS synopsis, “houseguests go head to head competing for the Power of Veto and later the PoV ceremony is held.”

#BigBrother18 starts right after the Week 9 nomination ceremony in the BB18 house. Paul jokes about the knife in his back and doesn’t like the remarks that Michelle made about him out of the blue. He thinks someone has been talking BS to Big Meech about him.
Natalie says she wants Paul out in her Diary Room session. Paul talks to Meech who says he knew Da’Vonne was going home and keeps lying to her face. Victor and Paul go into the UK room and tells Paul that he’s the girls’ target and the co-HoH’s want out.
Victor says they told him before nominations and doesn’t know why they want Paul out. Paul then comes back to the kitchen and asks Natalie to tell him what he lied about. He says if you put him on blast about lies, tell me what I lied about.
Paul wants a truth showdown
Paul wants the whole house to come out and have this out. Paul says just say you put me up because you think I’m a big threat. Natalie says she won the comp and it’s her HoH. James tries to step in and defend Natalie and then she gets up and walks away.
Meech comes in and she says he knew Day was going home. Paul says he knew others wanted her out, but he wanted Bridgette out, not Day. He says he tried to talk to people and they lied to him. He says James knows that Bridgette was his target.
Meech asks why Paulie would tell her that. Paul says Paulie told him to target James and says Paulie talked smack about all of them. He asks should we all listen to Paulie and tells the others they all suck at the Big Brother game and says he can’t wait for the Veto comp.
Corey and Nicole celebrate not being nommed
Corey and Nicole go to the pantry to do a happy dance because neither of them are on the Chopping Block. Upstairs, Natalie, James and Michelle talk about how much Paul was lying but the people that could confirm that are all gone.
Paul comes in and asks who boned him game-wise and Michelle says she won’t say a name. Natalie says a lot of things were said. Natalie asks Paul if he told Paulie to put James on the block. He says it must have been Nicole and Corey that said that and they can’t be trusted.
Paul says Paulie pulled him Nicole and Corey aside and told them to target Victor and James and says all he did was listen. Natalie says this makes her sick to her stomach and says sorry to Paul. He tells Natalie he’s not upset. Natalie starts crying.
Natalie cries and waffles
Paul says it’s a game and Natalie says she should not have wanted Paul to leave. Michelle says in the Diary Room that Paul’s ability to manipulate like this makes him more dangerous. Paul tells Natalie not to apologize for nomming her as she cries and says sorry she put him on the block.
In the Diary Room, Natalie cries some more and says she wishes she had not won this HoH since she makes mistakes and doesn’t know what to do. Victor and Paul hug it out in the storage room and Paul says Nicole and Corey lied to the girls about him.
Paul says it’s no surprise and they discuss if one of them wins the veto, then Nicole or Corey can go up against them and they’ll try to get them out. They have a game plan in place. James, Natalie and Meech are upstairs when Victor comes up and says Paul is pissed.
Victor talks to HoH room about Paul’s anger
He says Paul is mad at Nicole and Corey for lying about him. Natalie says she just lost it when James’ name comes up and Meech says Nicole and Corey know that James is Natalie’s soft spot and that’s why they threw that out there. Paul comes upstairs.
He asks if Natalie trusts him now and says he’s not mad and says Nicole and Corey are sneaky. Meech says Nicole is so happy that her plan worked. Paul says Nicole and Corey will say or do anything. Victor says they just need to put up Corey for the renom when one of them wins PoV.
They tell Natalie to pick James for PoV play if they get houseguest choice. Michelle still secretly wants Paul gone but she is playing along and hopes anyone but Paul wins the Veto competition. James is thinking about the fact that he and Natalie have a Final Four deal with Corey and Nicole.
James worries Natalie is off-plan
He’s hoping later he can talk to Natalie privately and get her back on the same page with them. Corey is called to the Diary Room and Paul comes to the kitchen with Victor. Paul tells her he knows he’s on the Chopping Block because of him. She denies it.
Paul asks how did he tell lies and says he knows that’s what she told them. Nicole plays dumb. Michelle and Natalie watch on the HoH cameras. James watches too. Nicole asks why you think it was me. She tries to walk away.
Paul says it’s because of her and Corey that he’s on the block. Corey comes out of the Diary Room with the news that he can take off his Patriotard and he’s happy then he strips off which interrupts the argument. It’s #Awkward.
Clueless Corey strips off in middle of an argument
Corey keeps stripping while Paul and Nicole bicker then he says they’re buzzkills for fighting. Nicole says he lied to her about giving Victor a sympathy vote. Paul says he knows she lied about him. Nicole says he’s good at this game and he says she’s good since she’s lying about him.
James, Michelle and Natalie eavesdrop from upstairs. Nicole says in the Diary Room that it’s sorry not sorry and he’s a big threat and is just mad that he’s on the block. Paul says Michelle and Natalie know that Nicole bamboozled them with lies.
Paul says just say it to my face next time. Nicole goes running up to the HoH. Paul goes to follow and then he gets a red alert and he runs upstairs and frisks them and says Big Brother gave a red alert so he can make sure she’s not spreading lies about him.
Endless drama and frisking
Natalie and Meech cover while Nicole says that Paul thinks she’s to blame. Paul comes into the HoH room and then there’s an announcement that his punishment is done too and he gets a thank for keeping Zingbot safe.
Later, Natalie tells James she has to win the veto. On the screen downstairs, there’s a BB storm update. They all run downstairs and the BB Storm Watch tells them to stay tuned throughout the night. Meech says they need coffee.
Later, there’s another announcement about Superstorm Glenn that’s a slow moving storm. Then they mention Superstorm Jody in connection with Glenn. They realize it’s going to be a quiz and Nicole tries to get Corey to study but he’s trying to make out with her in bed instead.
Stormwatch rolls on
Then there’s one on Jozea and the Messiah. Paul keeps coaching them and is running through his memory. You have to stay up late to see all the info, though. It’s still going on at 4 am when the stormwatch is about Tiffany and mentions her tears and Vanessa’s.
It’s almost 5 am and Corey says he doesn’t care. Paul tries to wake up Natalie and the others but they sleep so he hears it. Natalie and Meech tell everyone it’s time for the #VetoCompetition player pick. Natalie, Paul, Victor and Michelle stand up front.
Michelle draws Paul’s name so he gets to choose and he picks James to play in the PoV. Natalie draws Michelle who chooses Corey (she picked him because she thinks he’s dumb). That leaves just Nicole not playing in the comp.
Sleep kicks in
Paul is asleep in the HoH bed snoring when James comes in – he has to sleep in the Have Not room. Natalie isn’t happy that Paul is in her HoH bed when she wants to nap and do her makeup. She’s irritated. She complains and goes down to UK.
She asks James if she’s being a brat and Natalie says Paul is being too pushy and you can’t come take over the HoH room. She says he controlled the room last night and made them all study and kept them up in her HoH room.
Natalie says she wants Paul gone now. James is happy that she’s refocusing off of Corey and back onto Paul without him having to push her to get her back on track. James tells her that he’s got her back. Natalie is totally back on Paul and wants him out.
James pranks Paul
Paul works out while James whispers that he’s going to prank him and runs off. Natalie giggles as James sneaks up and low crawls towards Paul. He puts a bunch of salt in Paul’s water and replaces it while Paul keeps working out.
James rolls away silently and goes to giggle with Natalie. They watch Paul get sweaty and then he swills his water and spits it out angrily. Paul curses and yells how the f-k. He calls James a f-ing ninja. Then there’s another BB stormwatch.
They are told they have to audition in the yard for a position on the BB weather team. Natalie goes out first. It looks like a stormy tropical island. Natalie doesn’t want stormed on since she just did her hair and makeup.
The PoV comp starts
They have to read from the teleprompter like they’re reporting the weather news and have to fill in the blank with the correct houseguest name – Glenn, Frank, Jozea and Tiffany. Natalie has her umbrella and it’s raining down on her. She reads the lines as wind blows.
She misses the first one and it’s not just a mental comp, it’s one with physical challenges raining down on you. She misses another one. She finally gets one right that’s Frank and then Tiffany. Next up is Victor as he reports as Victor Caliente.
Victor’s umbrella flips inside out. He can’t pronounce the word cumululs and keeps calling it Columbus. Next is James Showers reporting. He doesn’t want to win the comp and that’s why he says he slept through all the announcements.
The PoV gets the HGs all wet
Michelle Drizzle is next in the comp and she’s hoping that Victor doesn’t win. She gets a Frank question and it makes her sad since she had a crush on him. Next is Corey Breeze. He holds the umbrella sideways and he also doesn’t want to win the PoV.
Paul Storm is next and he screws up his first line where it says “your name” and it’s funny. He seems to do really well – staying up late did well. Nicole announces the scores. The highest score possible was 21. Corey got 15 James got 13.
The rain is still pouring on them. Michelle got 20 and is in the lead. Natalie got a 10. Paul’s score is revealed as 21. Just Victor is left. Victor scored 19. Wow. Victor, Michelle and Paul all did best, but Paul walks away with the golden Power of Veto.
Renom scheming begins
Paul wants Corey up as the renom but Michelle wants Nicole up on the block. Victor also wants Corey up as a backdoor target. They all head back inside the house cold from the rain. Paul tells them he guesses on several of them. He wants to be sure to keep Victor.
Paul knows he’s screwed if Victor leaves. Meech has to pick the replacement nominee and considers Nicole or Corey. She really wants Nicole but knows the house wants Corey. Nicole seems to think she’s going on the block and hopes James won’t vote her out.
In UK, Victor and Paul talk and Paul says they need to play nice and try to get Corey on the block and out of the house. Paul says they need to get rid of Corey, then win HoH and go after James. They seem confident in their plan.
Veto and renom talk
Victor, Paul, Michelle, Natalie and James talk renom. Victor wants Corey on the block beside him since he’s a bigger threat. Victor tells Michelle if they put up Nicole and she gets evicted, Corey might get the care package. Paul says there’s a chance he could.
Paul says that means Corey is safe and one of them will go home. James tells Meech he knows that she wants Nicole up because she’s never been nominated. Meech says Nicole could win this and says people that sit in the corners win this game not people that win comps.
Victor says they have the numbers now. Paul says they will go after Nicole as soon as Corey leaves. Meech says she has time to think about it and Victor says they’re just offering her perspectives to consider.
Veto Meeting
Paul, as expected, uses the Veto on himself and Meech has to nominate someone to replace him. Michelle says it was a hard decision because she loves all of them but has to ask Corey to take a seat on the block. He goes to sit beside Victor.
Nicole is unhappy. Paul adjourns the meeting. Nicole is stunned that it’s not her on the block and wants to keep Corey safe. Corey isn’t surprised but is confident that James won’t vote him out so he’s confident. Michelle says she wanted to put Nicole up but decided to think strategically.
Michelle wants Corey out and Victor plans to do all he can to stay in the BB18 house. James knows the power is all in his hands and doesn’t like to be in this spot because there will be major blood on his hands since Nicole will vote against Victor and Paul will vote against Corey.
