Late-breaking Big Brother 18 spoilers for Week 7 Power of Veto show that Paulie won PoV and this will make for major drama at the Veto Meeting and with a possible re-nom. With Michelle and Zakiyah on the chopping block, things are about to get tense.
Zakiyah will expect Paulie to use the veto on her but that’s unlikely at this point. The Week 7 PoV comp players were Michelle, Zakiyah, Paulie, Nicole and James with Paul hosting. James told Natalie he planned to throw it and Nicole also planned to throw it.
But no way was Paulie not going to play hard and sure enough, he took his second PoV in a row with the hide and seek comp. But will Paulie use his PoV? Maybe, maybe not. There’s a showdown brewing in Week 7 that could break up the bromance between Paulie and Paul.
Is the Paul and Paulie bromance dying?
Paul wants to send Zakiyah packing this week while Paulie wants Michelle evicted. Paulie said if he won the PoV, he would not use it but then said Zakiyah definitely has to go, but then further talk showed he may not be ready for her to leave BB18.
However, if Paulie uses the PoV, he will draw ire from other houseguests so he may leave Zakiyah on the block but try to convince her he’s actually doing her a favor. But will Zakiyah believe what Paulie says? If he leaves her on the block, he could be in trouble with Z.
Then again, if he goes after Michelle, he could be in trouble with Paul. What will he do and is this the moment when the house fractures? Paul and Paulie debated the merits of which lady to send home and neither was compromising, so this could be explosive.
The house takes sides
Victor appears to be siding with Paul on ousting Zakiyah, but can’t vote plus James has that America’s Care Package advantage of being able to eliminate two votes. That could be crucial given they need four votes to evict in a week of seven available votes.
The voters this week are: James, Natalie, Paulie, Nicole, Corey, Paul and Bridgette. Bridgette would probably be happier to see Michelle leave since she’s her chief bully but Zakiyah would be okay as well since she stole Bridgette’s birthday cake.
There’s also the chance that James may wimp out and not use his advantage to take away anyone’s votes so that he doesn’t stick his neck out. The only clear move James has made this game was to nom Frank and Bridgette and since then he’s been under the radar.
Changes afoot in BB18 house
If you check out the pic above, you should notice immediately a major change in Paulie’s appearance. Remember how he grew out his beard and had his hair shaved up to look just like Paul and started the whole #BBTwinsie thing?
That’s a psychological technique called mirroring where you mimic the other person to build trust and rapport. But now that Paul and Paulie are out of sync, Paulie changed up his hair and shaved off his beard. This is a physical sign of the inner cracks between them.
It will be interesting to see whether Paulie uses his PoV and James uses his care package votes killer. Paulie has to justify to Zakiyah not using the PoV. Plus, James may say he’s not using his advantage because he wants the house to have its say.
