Big Brother 18 spoilers have been coming at us left and right, and there have been just enough clues released to whet our appetites as we wait in anticipation for the show’s premiere. BB18 spoilers have confirmed that two of the HGs entering the house have previous ties to the game – in the form of siblings who competed in past seasons.
Vanessa Rousso’s sister, Tiffany, and Cody Calafiore’s brother, Paulie, will proceed into the BB18 house this summer. And, if you know anything about their siblings’ past gameplay, then you understand that they’re going to have A LOT to live up to. Neither won, but both came close, and they left trails of fire in their wakes.
Vanessa Rousso, the master manipulator and a primary leader of the Sixth Sense Alliance, made a name for herself last season when she controlled the game with her smooth words and unflinching poker face. I guess that’s what you get when you invite a world class professional poker player into the mix. Her tactics took her far in the game, and she finished in the final 3, with Liz and Steve coming out ahead.
Cody experienced similar success; he used his athleticism and wit to take him all the way to the end, though he ultimately lost the game to his ally and fellow bro, Derrick Levasseur.
Both of these houseguests played the game quite strong and with a domineering force, so it’s no wonder that, out of all the past contestants the producers could’ve probed, they chose to pull from these two BB bloodlines.
Are Tiffany and Paulie coming into the game with an extra edge – and have their siblings given them an inside scoop on how to go all the way? It’s a bit unclear how BB18 will introduce this sibling twist: They might not introduce it at all and, perhaps, Cody and Tiffany will choose to hide the fact that they’re related to BB fame at all (so as to take targets off their backs). Though, fans of the game would have to be completely blind if they can’t see the resemblance to their famous siblings.
It would be very interesting if Paulie and Tiffany established an alliance together and combined their forces to continue the legacies of the Rousso and Calafiore names. Of course, we’ll have to wait and see how these two are introduced and if they gravitate towards each other during the initial days and weeks in the house.
Big Brother spoilers haven’t really suggested that these two will be entering the game with any shared motives – but, as always, we’ve learned to Expect the Unexpected and would love to see these two dominate the house while intertwined on a shared mission. Perhaps they could bring Mama Day in on their action and, together – with their combined class, charm, good looks, and fierceness – command the game to make their bro and sis proud.
