Billy Bob Thornton would like to make movies with ex-wife Angelina Jolie’s soon-to-be ex-husband Brad Pitt. The Oscar-winning actor expressed his desire to work with Brad, also an Oscar winner, during a recent interview.
During the interview with Playboy, Thornton made an interesting comment when discussing people with whom the actor would like to work. “This might surprise people, but I’d love to do a movie with Brad Pitt. We’d play a couple of Southern guys. [Pitt] and I could do our own version of a Southern heist thriller.”
This statement comes just about a week after Thornton told GQ that, despite their divorce, he and Angelina remained friends, talking every few months. During that interview, the actor also revealed that he never felt good enough for Angelina.
Once Angelina finds out Thornton wants to make movies with Pitt will the actress feel betrayed and end the friendship with Thornton? There have been a few reports that Thornton and Angelina reunited after the actress filed for divorce from Pitt. The couple’s marriage was intense. Remember, Thornton wore a vial of Angelina’s blood around his neck.
Don’t forget, Angelina and Thornton had sex in the back of a limo on the way to the 2000 MTV Music Awards. Angelina wasn’t shy about revealing that information on the red carpet. It wouldn’t surprise anyone if Angelina tried to rekindle her romance with Thornton.
Thornton has been happily married to his sixth wife Connie Angland since 2014. The couple met in 2003, not long after Thornton’s divorce from Angelina. Connie probably isn’t happy that Thornton keeps talking about Angelina and would be thrilled if they were no longer in contact.
Many of Hollywood’s A-listers have sided with Pitt after Angelina tried to destroy his career with a nasty smear campaign. Can Angelina afford to alienate Thornton, who appears to be her only friend right now?
