A new report indicates that Angelina Jolie will be spending her Thanksgiving holidays with her six children, excluding her soon-to-be ex-husband Brad Pitt from all of the festivities. In fact, Angelina’s own divorce attorney opened up about the actress and her low-key plans for the next several weeks.
According to Entertainment Tonight, Hollywood power attorney Laura Wasser, who is representing Angelina Jolie in her very nasty and public divorce from Brad Pitt, was asked how her client is doing, despite all the mud-slinging that has been going on in the press lately.
Brad has been accused of not only being physical with his 15-year-old son Maddox on a private flight from Paris to Minneapolis back in September, but for also having serious alcohol and substance abuse problems.
As far as Angelina’s Thanksgiving plans, Laura Wasser stated, “I’m going to imagine that she’s going to do what most of us are doing, which is spending it with her family,” adding that her six children are doing “fine.”
Of course, both fans and critics alike can’t help but wonder if Brad will be left out at this year’s Thanksgiving dinner table, considering that he’s only seen his children three times in the last three months. Angelina is currently fighting Brad for full-custody of their children as some even believe that she’s trying to erase him from their family’s picture altogether.
And while Angelina is doing whatever it takes to distance Brad from their family, her children are clearly upset and furious so much so that they feel their mother is playing an emotional tug-of-war between their two parents.
Many fans have even suggested that it’s doubtful all six children, who also include Pax, 12, Zahara, 11, Shiloh, 10, and 8-year-old twins Knox and Vivienne, are so upset at their father Brad that they don’t want to spend time with him during the holidays. In fact, it’s quite the opposite as this year’s festivities will have a somber mood if in fact both parents are not present as they have been throughout the years.
For Brad’s part, the actor has not said anything about their divorce battle other than thanking his fans for all the support he’s so far received. Still, it wouldn’t be surprising if Angelina Jolie did get her way and keep the kids for both Thanksgiving and Christmas, making this holiday season the worst one yet for Brad Pitt. Do you agree?
