“Days of Our Lives” spoilers (DOOL) tease that we’re headed into Kate Mansi’s last two weeks as Abigail. Her time on DOOL may be winding down, but the drama is certainly heating up. At Shady Hills, Chad (Billy Flynn) will get updates on this week’s episodes about a fire that left Abigail with severe burns.
Abigail will have bandages covering the wounds on her hands as well as a mask covering her charred face. When Chad speaks with Abigail, she’ll claim she saw Ben. Chad will realize that Abigail’s mental state has gotten much worse. “Days” spoilers reveal that Chad will feel like his wife is slipping away.
He really thought Abby would be on the road to recovery by now.
Chad will have questions about what started the fire. He’ll ask Shawn (Brandon Beemer) about it, but he won’t be prepared for what he hears. DOOL’s weekly preview video shows Shawn looking somber as he delivers the bad news.
It appears Shawn is about to admit that Abigail was to blame for this incident.
Chad is sure to be a mess by the end of all this. To make matters worse, the ordeal will sink Abigail further into insanity. She’ll insist that she wants leave the mental institution. Perhaps Abby will think Ben got away. She may suggest that she’s not safe and needs to get out of there.
Regardless, Abigail will be determined to leave Shady Hills as soon as possible. Jennifer (Melissa Reeves) will probably agree that this place isn’t secure if they let Abigail set herself on fire. “Days of Our Lives” spoilers say Chad will try to wrap his head around the situation while Abigail waits impatiently.
Abigail will eventually decide that she just can’t take it anymore. She’ll take matters into her own hands as she makes her escape. You can catch Abigail making her getaway on Friday, June 24. This will mark Kate Mansi’s last day as Abby.
Of course, Abigail couldn’t get very far in a hospital gown, bandages and a burn mask. That makes us think someone may kidnap Abigail after she heads out. Poor Abby! She’s already been through so much, but even more trauma is in her future.
It’s possible that one of Clyde’s (James Read) minions could scoop Abby up. It’s also possible that Andre (Thaao Penghlis) is involved in some way. DOOL’s summer preview hinted that Andre will know more than he’s letting on. Whatever the case, the next few months will be rough for Chad. Stick with “Days of Our Lives” to see how Chad will handle the pain.
