“Days of Our Lives” spoilers for Thursday, January 28, tease that it’ll be time for Daniel’s (Shawn Christian) loved ones to say a final goodbye. A small funeral will take place as well as a reception at Club TBD. Nicole (Arianne Zucker) will have trouble getting through the service, but she’ll try her best to stay strong.
Chloe (Nadia Bjorlin) and Parker (Christian Ganiere) will also struggle to cope with their grief. Even JJ (Casey Moss) will need support as he processes this great loss. JJ is clearly having a rough year. Paige’s (True O’Brien) death hit JJ hard and now he’s losing a mentor, too.
DOOL spoilers indicate that Abigail (Kate Mansi) will reach out to JJ and help him move forward. Abby will assure JJ that things will get better eventually. Daniel would want JJ to stay positive.
Eric (Greg Vaughan) was recently arrested, but it looks like he’ll be released or at least given the option to attend Daniel’s funeral. Whatever the case, “Days of Our Lives” spoilers say Eric will turn down the opportunity. It’s Eric’s fault that Daniel is dead and he won’t want to pour salt in Nicole’s wound. Nevertheless, Eric will come up with a way to honor Daniel’s memory on this somber day.
Meanwhile, Brady (Eric Martsolf) and Theresa (Jen Lilley) will get caught in an awkward situation. “Days” spoilers reveal that Melanie (Molly Burnett) will bump into her ex and enemy as she prepares to head home. DOOL viewers know that Theresa basically forced Melanie to leave Brady and Salem behind. Now Theresa is in a relationship with Brady, which will undoubtedly feel like a low blow.
However, Melanie has more important issues on her mind at the moment. She’s still grieving over Daniel and she probably doesn’t want to deal with anything else right now. Melanie may just wish them the best and move on with her life. Stick with “Days of Our Lives” for updates on this uncomfortable exchange.
