“Days of Our Lives” (DOOL) spoilers tease that on next week’s episodes Fynn (Alexander Bruszt) will work hard to come up with a solution to Salem’s deadly problem. This massive outbreak is unlike anything these doctors have ever seen. They know that the virus is manmade and they suspect Paul (Christopher Sean) is patient zero.
Armed with that information, DOOL spoilers say Fynn will manage to find a cure. It seems this Australian doc is filling Daniel’s (Shawn Christian) heroic shoes. Dr. Dan was always Salem’s Superman, but Fynn is apparently donning the cape now.
Kayla (Mary Beth Evans) will appreciate Fynn’s efforts to save the day. They’ll grow even closer as a result of this quarantine. That’s bad news for Steve (Stephen Nichols), but he shouldn’t be too worried.
“Days” viewers know that Steve and Kayla are destined to be together.
Besides, Steve’s shining moment could come it he rescues Joey (James Lastovic) and Jade (Paige Searcy). Stay tuned to see how long Kayla can resist “Patch” and his undying love.
As for the hospital patients, everything will settle down once the antidote is administered. They’ll all improve almost immediately. However, there’s no instant cure for the mental and emotional effects of what Paul has been through.
Paul recently admitted that he just hasn’t been the same since Yo Ling (Tobin Bell) partially brainwashed him. “Days of Our Lives” spoilers indicate that Marlena (Deidre Hall) will attempt to help Paul get through this crisis. She’ll offer a counseling session to Paul as tries to deal with post-traumatic stress.
Unfortunately, therapy probably won’t be a quick fix. Even though Yo Ling didn’t get as far as he wanted with Paul, there are still some scary thoughts buried deep within his brain. Anything could happen with Paul in this state.
DOOL buzz hints that more trouble could be brewing for Paul, but at least he’ll have a support system in place. John (Drake Hogestyn) and Marlena will certainly do whatever they can, but Sonny (Freddie Smith) might lend a helping hand as well.
Sonny will return this July and we can’t wait to see what unfolds. Stick with “Days of Our Lives” for updates on what Sonny will do once he’s back in Salem.
