Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers tease that Hope (Kristian Alfonso) and Rafe (Galen Gering) will do everything they can to find the fugitives. Salem is in real danger and they need to catch these guys ASAP. Orpheus (George DelHoyo), Clyde (James Read) and Xander (Paul Telfer) are the biggest threat this town has seen in a long time.
While Rafe and Hope are on the hunt, Aiden (Daniel Cosgrove) will give them a puzzling request. Days of Our Lives spoilers say Aiden will want to talk about Stefano’s (Joseph Mascolo) murder case. He’ll insist that there are a few things he needs to get straight.
The request itself isn’t surprising. Hope and Rafe know that Aiden is digging around. However, it’s odd that Aiden is choosing a time like this to make his move. Hope will wonder if Aiden seriously expects them to make time for this when their loved ones are facing peril.
Nevertheless, Aiden will maintain that he’d prefer to get this cleared up now. Days spoilers reveal that Aiden will call them into his office, but he’ll have to step out of the room briefly. Something sounds fishy here. There’s a good chance that this is a soapy trap.
While Aiden is gone, Hope will offer Rafe an apology for dragging him into this mess. It looks like Hope will rehash the gory details. When DOOL released a video teasing their post-Olympics return, Aiden appeared to have a recording of Hope’s confession.
Will Aiden set his phone to record and let it capture their conversation? He might think this is a great way to get solid info. Aiden may be leaving them alone so they’ll spill something.
We’ve also watched Aiden record a message of his own recently. It was just a reminder about his investigation, but that was probably a hint about Aiden’s next move. When he returns to the office, Aiden will announce that he’s dropping the case.
Hope and Rafe will be stunned, but pleased. They’ll agree that it’s for the best. There are plenty of other cases that need their full attention. Rafe and Hope will believe this is finally over. They’ll breathe a sigh of relief, but the peace won’t last. After all, the villains are still on the loose.
As Clyde closes in on Aiden as a target, Hope will encourage her ex to leave town. Aiden won’t be on board with that plan – at least not until he gets what he wants. Days of Our Lives spoilers say Aiden will state that they need to have a private chat. Hope will ask what all of this is about, but she’ll figure it out soon enough.
Aiden will likely confront Hope with his proof at that point. He’ll eventually make his blackmail scheme known. Hope will worry that Aiden could turn her life upside down if she doesn’t do what he asks. She’ll try to focus on catching the convicts, but Aiden’s plot will linger in the back of her mind.
Will Aiden take Hope down if she refuses to cooperate? Could Clyde kill Aiden before anything else happens? Regardless, that recording could come back to haunt Hope. Whether Aiden is in the picture or not, Hope could definitely land behind bars.
