Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers tease that Jade (Paige Searcy) will get on Joey’s (James Lastovic) last nerve. Since her parents kicked her out, Jade has been living it up at Steve (Stephen Nichols) and Kayla’s (Mary Beth Evans) place. She’s obviously taking full advantage of this pregnancy.
When Jade revealed that she went off birth control for a couple of months, Joey was outraged. He didn’t use protection because Jade assured him it wasn’t necessary. Naturally, Joey feels duped. He accused Jade of getting pregnant on purpose and there’s a good possibility she did.
Jade could sense that Joey was drifting and this was an easy way to keep him in her orbit indefinitely. However, Days spoilers suggest that Jade’s plan could soon go awry. She’ll approach Joey and urge him to get over his issues. Regardless of Jade’s intentions, she’s having this baby and Joey will just have to deal with it.
Days of Our Lives spoilers say Joey will lash out at Jade for messing up their lives. They’ll have a heated argument, but everything could change in an instant. Jade will experience some intense pain during their confrontation. She’ll probably convince Joey that she needs to go to the hospital immediately.
Will Jade lose the baby or at least learn there are some risks associated with this pregnancy? We know that Paige Searcy will be departing in early 2017. Days of Our Lives buzz hints that the role has been recast, so it appears Jade will be sticking around for a while.
That doesn’t necessarily rule out a miscarriage, but it could mean that this storyline isn’t wrapping up just yet. Of course, there’s a chance that Jade could lose the baby and fake the remainder of the pregnancy. She’d be pulling a page right out of Nicole’s (Arianne Zucker) playbook.
Nicole once went to great lengths to pretend she was expecting. Jade might be willing to do the same thing. On the other hand, perhaps her latest scare will be relatively minor. The doctor could inform Jade that she needs to lay off all the arguing and do what’s best for her kid. It might make Joey chill out as well.
Joey could feel guilty for causing stress and putting their child in danger. This could help ease the tension and make all of this very real for Joey. He could settle down and start preparing to be a decent father.
Still, Jade and Joey aren’t exactly a supercouple in the making. DOOL clearly hasn’t given them a beautiful love story. It was more like a string of bad decisions and meaningless hookups. Will Days really tie these two together forever with a baby?
That seems like a pointless move. Maybe Jade will have a change of heart and push for adoption down the road. If not, the miscarriage option will remain on the table.
