“Days of Our Lives” spoilers reveal that Daniel’s (Shawn Christian) funeral will finally get underway amidst a rash of death on DOOL. Nicole (Arianne Zucker) has been struggling to cope with her loss, but she’s trying to move on with her life. Nevertheless, Nicole will have a tough time getting through Daniel’s memorial service. Chloe (Nadia Bjorlin) and Parker (Christian Ganiere) will also battle tears as they say a final farewell.
DOOL spoilers tease that Eric (Greg Vaughan) will be offered the chance to attend the funeral, but he’ll turn it down. Since Eric caused Daniel’s death, it just wouldn’t be appropriate. However, Eric will come up with a way to honor his pal. Daniel wouldn’t want Eric to wallow in shame for the rest of his days. Eric will undoubtedly continue to feel guilty, but he’ll do his best to maintain an attitude Daniel would be proud of.
Other “Days of Our Lives” spoilers indicate that JJ (Casey Moss) will lean on his sister as he deals with his grief. Both Abigail (Kate Mansi) and JJ were quite close to Daniel. After Jack (Matthew Ashford) died, Daniel served as a father figure for these siblings. In fact, JJ would probably still be doing drugs and vandalizing store windows if Daniel hadn’t helped him get his act together.
Of course, JJ had to deal with Paige’s (True O’Brien) death earlier this year. “Days” skipped over most of JJ’s sorrow during that time. Perhaps JJ’s heartache is just now catching up with him. Daniel’s death may bring out some emotions he’s been holding inside.
Everyone will eventually make peace with Daniel’s passing. Let’s hope happiness is around the corner. We’ve certainly had plenty of darkness on DOOL lately. Ben’s (Robert Scott Wilson) murder spree took out several characters, a brain tumor claimed Bo’s (Peter Reckell) life, a car accident killed Daniel and Hope (Kristian Alfonso) murdered Stefano (Joseph Mascolo).
Luckily, DOOL buzz hints that they’ll dial down the death in the coming months. Maybe we’ll even see some cheer down the road. After all, Chad (Billy Flynn) and Abigail want to tie the knot soon. Steve (Stephen Nichols) and Kayla (Mary Beth Evans) are engaged as well. Viewers deserve a blissful wedding or two! Stick with “Days of Our Lives” to for updates on what the future holds.
