Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers for the week of August 22-26 tease that the NBC soap will finally be back in action. It’s been a long hiatus thanks to the Olympics, but we’ll soon have a chance to catch up with all of our favorite Salemites. There’ll be plenty of drama happening around town.
DOOL will kick off the week with some conflict between Shawn (Brandon Beemer) and Belle (Martha Madison). Claire (Olivia Rose Keegan) recently announced her decision to skip college and it didn’t go over very well. Belle and Shawn will continue to fight over how to guide their daughter.
Elsewhere, Days of Our Lives spoilers say Maggie (Suzanne Rogers) will get prepped for surgery. She’ll undoubtedly be worried about the outcome of this operation. This could be her last opportunity to walk again.
Fortunately, Maggie will get the news she’s been hoping for. The procedure will go according to plan and Maggie should be back on her feet after some physical therapy. However, Tate’s kidnapping will remain on her mind.
Brady (Eric Martsolf) and Theresa (Jen Lilley) have been searching for answers about their son’s abduction, but they haven’t been able to track him down. Thankfully, they’re about to get a break in the case. Days spoilers reveal that Tate will be reunited with his parents at last!
As Brady and Theresa welcome Tate home, Victor (John Aniston) will get grilled at the police station. He’ll be arrested, but Justin (Wally Kurth) and Sonny (Freddie Smith) won’t be so sure he’s guilty. Theresa will also have her doubts. This mystery will certainly bring some interesting twists and turns.
Meanwhile, Abe (James Reynolds) will officially appoint Aiden (Daniel Cosgrove) as the new district attorney. Aiden already wormed his way into this position, but they still have to take care of the formalities. Days spoilers say Hope (Kristian Alfonso) and Rafe (Galen Gering) will get incredibly nervous. They have a lot to hide and even more to lose.
Aiden will inform Rafe and Hope that he intends on fixing the problems Justin left behind. He’ll vow to tie up any loose ends and investigate any suspicious cases thoroughly. Rafe and Hope will fear that the shocking truth will come out. Hope killed Stefano (Joseph Mascolo) and Rafe covered it up. They could both be in hot water if Aiden discovers proof.
Other Days of Our Lives spoilers indicate that Ciara (Vivian Jovanni) will face heartbreak when Chad (Billy Flynn) rejects her. She’ll profess her love, but Chad won’t reciprocate her feelings. Ciara dumped Theo (Kyler Pettis) over this silly crush, but she may regret letting him go. DOOL fans will see Theo heat things up with Claire in the near future.
Across town, Chloe (Nadia Bjorlin) will be forced to make some tough choices. She’ll have to determine if she’s going to keep her baby. Chloe will opt to move forward with the pregnancy, but she still won’t know if she should tell Deimos (Vincent Irizarry).
It looks like Chloe will try to hide this secret for now. Philip (John-Paul Lavoisier) can help out if Chloe will allow it. Will Chloe let Philip pose as this child’s father?
