The teaser trailer for ‘Beauty and the Beast’ hit social media on May 23 and fans so excited they nearly shut down Twitter. The live action Disney movie starring Emma Watson is scheduled for release on March 17, 2017.
Lest viewers forget that The Bachelorette 2016 premieres on Monday, May 23 Disney tied the release of the trailer into season 12 of Bachelorette which will chronicle JoJo Fletcher’s search for true love.
The movie has its very own Twitter account and tweeted, “Will you accept our rose @BacheloretteABC? #BeOurGuest.”

Once the teaser went up on the ‘Beauty and the Beast’ Twitter account #BeautyandtheBeast immediately began to trend. Fans are beyond excited and can’t wait for the movie’s release. The one thing fans are definitely vocal about is that Disney remains true to the 1991 original Academy-award winning animated film.

The teaser focuses on the cold and lonely castle the Beast calls home. Interior shots include a portrait of the young prince before he was cursed and the abandoned ballroom where Belle and the Beast enjoy their first dance and fall in love.
The voices of Ewan McGregor as Lumiere, Ian McKellan as Cogsworth and Emma Watson as Belle are featured in the trailer.
“Hello?” Belle’s voice echoes through the deserted castle. The strands of the title song begin to play on the piano as a long-stemmed red rose comes into focus.
Emma’s face appears as she reaches out to the rose. The teaser trailer ends with a rose petal falling and “Be Our Guest 3.17.17” letting fans know to save the date.
In addition to Emma Watson, Ewan McGregor and Ian McKellan the feature film stars Dan Stevens as The Beast, Emma Thompson as Mrs. Potts, Luke Evans as Gaston, Stanley Tucci as Cadenza and Kevin Kline as Maurice will be featured.
