“General Hospital” (GH) spoilers indicate the medical drama with Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot) is far from over and in next week’s episodes we will see if she lives or dies. Now that Dr Hamilton Finn (Michael Easton) diagnoses Tracy’s brain worms and is treating them, she’s certain she’s cured. But Dr Finn cautioned her it may not be that easy.
Tracy keeps wanting to pack her bags and leave GH so she can get back to recovering ELQ for the Quartermaines and fulfill her father’s legacy. But it looks like that may have to wait. It seems that Dr Finn’s pharmaceutical protocol to treat Tracy’s brain lesions and worms will fail.
GH spoilers indicate that Tracy will begin to experience other neurological symptoms that are VERY noticeable to her family. Most prominent of these is that she begins behaving nicely. Can you imagine a warm, fuzzy Tracy Q?
While Dillon Quartermaine (Robert P Watkins) may think this is a symptom of her near-death experience, older son Ned Ashton (Wally Kurth) may recognize it as a symptom of something more serious since Tracy is never ever a sweet cuddly person – no matter what.
General Hospital spoilers know that Ned has a lot more experience with his mom’s behavioral vagaries than does Dillon since he’s been around her for quite a few more years. Dr Finn will observe Tracy being much nicer this week, but the lizard-loving new doc doesn’t know Tracy like others do.
Dr Griffin Munro (Matt Cohen) has been on the receiving end of Tracy’s ire many times, though, and may notice that her newfound kindness is out of character. The bottom line is that within a week, Tracy will require delicate brain surgery for her worms and lesions.
General Hospital spoilers ask if it be will Dr Munro that operates on Tracy? It’s hard to imagine that Ned and Dillon will allow Dr Mayes (Matt Riedy) – aka Dr Doom – to tamper with their mom’s brain again. We do wonder if Tracy will have wide awake surgery…
A real life patient who suffered brain worms from a bad taco in South America had to have hers surgically removed a few years ago and the surgery had to be done with just acupuncture and mild anesthesia since it was in a sensitive area of the brain.
Wonder if that will be the case for Tracy’s surgery? Can you imagine operating on Tracy Quartermaine while she nagged and made demands the whole time? Can you say PRESSURE? Dr Finn is already upset that Dr Mayes carved into Tracy’s head for a needless biopsy, so he should root for Griffin as well.
We also want to know why Ned hasn’t called to check on Larry Ashton (Hugo Napier) to see if he’s wormy too… Of course Lord Larry is an ass of epic proportions, but since this is a medical emergency, it seems like someone should give him a call.
