New General Hospital (GH) spoilers reveal that Elizabeth Webber (Rebecca Herbst) may seem to be recovering well from her nasty spill, but things will take a turn for the worse next week and Franco (Roger Howarth) will decide to reveal the sister secret to save her life.
As of now, only Heather Webber (Robin Mattson), Franco, and Naomi Dreyfus (Robin Riker) know that Liz and Hayden Barnes (Rebecca Budig) are sisters but something will erupt soon that will have Franco debating whether he can keep his mother’s secret anymore.
Heather told Franco to keep it zipped because she relies on the blackmail payments that Naomi has been sending her for years. But, to be fair, Heather also said that Naomi was way behind on payments and Naomi admitted she couldn’t afford to keep them up.
Dr. Griffin Munro (Matt Cohen) told Franco and Liz that her spleen is still a concern and that’s why she’s in such pain and it could rupture. Spleen injuries often come with internal bleeding and can require a blood transfusion.
In addition to the spleen issues, there may be other complications from Liz’s fall. Years ago it was revealed on GH that Liz has A positive blood but one of her sons, Aiden, also suffered a rare blood disorder. Perhaps Liz also shares this disorder.
General Hospital spoilers tease that Liz will have a trauma that will require some type of medical intervention and they need someone to donate some sort of biological material that requires a close relative. That could motivate Franco to talk.
There are any number of things that could happen. Liz could have damage to her liver from the fall requiring a partial liver donation. She could need a blood transfusion and some complication requires it to be a close match.
The important thing to remember here is that Liz has almost no family in Port Charles aside from her kids. Her gran is around but she’s too old to be giving away blood and body parts. Hayden will be the only close relative in Port Charles that can help.
Naomi wants to keep the sister secret hidden at all costs. Franco might have kept it quiet since Liz and Hayden hate each other. But Liz’s medical crisis will force Franco to make a life-or-death choice to tell Liz and save her – or leave her life at risk.
That will be a no-brainer for Franco. He cares deeply about Liz – he’s even sleeping in her hospital room to protect her from the GH serial killer. Naomi won’t like it and GH spoilers tease she’ll threaten Franco to keep his mouth shut, but he’ll go with Liz’s best interests.
