‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Jason Comes Out of Stone Cold Retirement to Take Out Julian, Avenge Morgan?

New General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that Jason Morgan (Billy Miller) might come out of his Stone Cold retirement for one last dirty job to put the Corinthos clan at peace by taking out Julian Jerome (William deVry). Could Jason do the unthinkable and assassinate his wife’s biological father?

We know there’s a mob war brewing thanks to a new ABC GH promo, but will Jason get back into “wet work” and take care of business? Jason doesn’t want pregnant wife Sam Morgan (Kelly Monaco) at risk of mob violence but it seems like as long as Julian is around, people will keep dying.

Michael Quartermaine (Chad Duell) is torn between taking out his anger on Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) or on Julian. Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) is also tormented. Jason might be tempted to put on his black gloves, grab his gun, and take care of Julian to prevent further violence.

It doesn’t seem wise to engage in violence to prevent violence, but if Jason takes out Julian, he could put an end to this once and for all. A recent ABC GH promo video shows Sonny and Julian brawling hand to hand on Pier 54 as they wrestle for a gun – is this too much for Jason?

Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) is at her wit’s end and Jason will want to ease her pain. She’s scared of losing more loved ones to the Jerome vs Corinthos war, so she might ask Jason to help her family. If anything could get Jason to pick up his gun, it’s the death of his namesake and an appeal from Carly.

Ever since Jason recovered his memories, he’s been insistent that he wouldn’t go near the cartel business – and before he had his memories, he was insistently anti-mob. However, Jason could be moved to violence if he truly felt the good he could do outweighed the bad.

Sam might even understand if Jason offed her dad. After all, Julian tried to choke Alexis Davis (Nancy Grahn) to death and if Sam thinks Julian is an ongoing risk to her mom, Sam might even endorse his plan to out her homicidal daddy six feet under. And it’s not like Jason hasn’t killed before.

In fact, Jason has killed since he came back first as Jake Doe, then as Jason, in defense of Sonny and others. But what he hasn’t done is to leave the house with a gun in his hand planning to kill someone. That is definitely the Stone Cold of old – but would new kindler gentler Jason go that way? Maybe.

Will things get so deadly in Port Charles between Julian and Sonny that Jason thinks the only way to avoid losing others that he loves is to take out one of the mob bosses? Jason hates the violence, but he also knows that sometimes it’s unavoidable. Jason knows the value of life and the gravity of death, so what will he choose?
