“General Hospital” (GH) spoilers reveal that on this week’s and next week’s episodes fans can expect to begin to get concrete answers regarding the mystery surrounding Hamilton Finn (Michael Easton). For weeks now viewers have speculated why a temperamental physically ill Finn wandered through Port Charles injecting mystery serum into his veins at every turn.
The questions have been asked and it seems the answers all point to Roxy.
As you will recall, last week Carly (Laura Wright) was called to Finn’s room with reports that he was not responding to attempts to wake him. Upon entering, a horrified Carly found Finn unconscious with a massive syringe at his side. When Finn finally regained conciousness, he blamed the blackout on diabetes!
We already know Finn brought Roxy home from a camping trip in Australia. Apparently a sickly Roxy wandered into Finn’s tent after he left it unzipped while he was sleeping. This week General Hospital spoilers could clarify that Finn did not bring Roxy back to the U.S. out of the goodness of his heart.
Was it a matter of life or death?
Finn’s condition will likely continue to decline. GH speculation is that a series of delirious flash backs reveal Roxy wasn’t the only thing Finn left Australia with. It’s possible Finn contracted Murray Valley encephalitis – a rare, deadly virus spread from infected animals to humans by mosquito bites.
GH rumors suggest that Finn believes he has the same virus that originally made Roxy sick in Australia. There is no doubt that Finn has the capabilities to use her immunity to create a serum for himself, in fact, it appears he has already begun the testing phase.
He is injecting himself multiple times a day with what he hopes will save his life.
Left untreated, this virus takes its toll; severe confusion, sweating, and delusions are only the beginning! It appears that Dr. Munro (Matt Cohen) is already getting suspicious of Finn’s behavior and is making it even harder for Lizard Man to hide his problems.
It may soon become clear Finn is in a race with time to develop his own cure before the infection invades his brain and leads to permanent disability or death!
Will he be able to develop a treatment in time to save his own life or will the next dose do more than render him unconscious? Also, what unknown side effects will Finn’s aggressive experimental approach have on himself and Roxy?
