“General Hospital” (GH) spoilers tease that Lucas Jones (Ryan Carnes) will be in danger on this week’s episodes and whether or not he survives his ordeal may be down to an unlikely hero – Franco (Roger Howarth). Is Hamilton Finn (Michael Easton) being set up to look like a bad guy?
This week, Dr Obrecht (Kathleen Gati) makes the rounds to issue warnings about Finn to GH staffers. Dr O tells Liz Webber (Rebecca Herbst) to steer clear and that he can’t be trusted. Ironically, no one trusts Dr Obrecht, so we’ll see how seriously her warnings are taken.
General Hospital spoilers say they stage has been set so it looks like Finn is the one who has been stealing drugs from the supply closet, but is he really the culprit? Did Finn really go in and only take meds for his aching muscle as he said he would and leave the serious stuff alone?
Looks like there may be a second culprit in the hospital.
Although Lucas and Brad Cooper (Parry Shen) are set to get married at the ball, the wedding may have to be delayed because Lucas gets called back to GH to deal with an emergency. He’ll take off and deal with that but then it looks like Lucas will witness a crime that puts his life in danger.
The drug thefts at the hospital continue and it looks like the perpetrator is so desperate that they hurt someone to get what they need. Is this the crime that Lucas witnesses? GH spoilers tease that on the way back from GH to the Ball, Lucas spots something bad going down that puts his life at risk.
Is it the drug crime? The aftermath from the drug theft involving a getaway? Or is it a mob crime that Lucas witnesses? The hospital crime has clues that lead back to Finn and Griffin Munro (Matt Cohen) begins to suspect that the lizard-loving doctor is up to something.
The other crime that results in a dead body likely ties back to the criminal actions of Julian Jerome (William deVry). One of these two crimes puts Lucas in a dangerous spot. Interestingly, General Hospital spoilers tease that it will be Franco that tries to help Lucas.
Julian’s son may be in dire danger, but Franco keeps bad matters from getting worse. Franco has lucky timing to be where he can help Lucas, which is a big deal since Franco really hates his father Julian. But since Lucas has never rubbed Franco the wrong way, he’s willing to help.
But just because Franco saves Lucas doesn’t mean that Lucas is out of the woods. He might survive an attack only to have lingering effects from injuries suffered. There are other GH spoilers that tease that Lucas may be grievously wounded. We’ll see – but it looks like the wedding may be a no-go.
If Lucas does survive, perhaps they can host a bedside service at GH. It wouldn’t be the first GH wedding – remember Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) and Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) got married last year when he was recuperating from his gunshot wound.
The big questions looming are whether Lucas will ultimately survive his ordeal and whether Finn is the culprit in the GH drug crime that turns violent. Kudos to Franco for playing hero, though, and it looks like he’ll be rewarded with a kiss from Liz in coming days.
