New General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that ultra-schemer Claudette Bolland (Bree Williamson) has one more secret yet to reveal and it’s a whopper. Could Claudette have a child that she hasn’t told Nathan West (Ryan Paevey) about? Is this why Claudette really came to town?
The other major issue, if Claudette has a child, is whether her baby daddy is Nathan or former-Father Griffin Munro (Matt Cohen). It’s been a couple of years since Claudette last saw Nathan and Griffin after the terrible night when Nathan shot Griffin in a drunken rage.
Both Griffin and Nathan took off on Claudette and it’s possible that she found out she was pregnant after both men ditched her over her lies. Claudette felt horrible about Nathan shooting Griffin and wrecking all their lives – particularly since it was all her fault.
So if Claudette found out she was pregnant, she would NOT have known which man fathered her child. And how do you go to your ex-husband who dumped you for cheating and the guy he shot to ask for a DNA test? Talk about awkward…
Based on the turbulent backstory that Claudette, Nathan and Griffin share, it makes sense that she might not tell either man about the child. Also, Claudette seemed to be unaware that Nathan was in Port Charles until she saw his engagement photo.
Plus, finding Griffin in the same town was an utter shocker. That means even if Claudette wanted to tell the men about a child she might have, she wouldn’t have been able to find them to talk it through and get a DNA test.
Griffin has made it clear that he’s done with Claudette and told her she ruined his life and his vocation as a priest. Nathan has made it clear he’s done with Claudette and plans to go full steam ahead with plans to marry Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms).
But if anything could shake up the Maxie-Nathan wedding plans, it would be Claudette revealing she has a child. Nowhere on Maxie’s dream wedding board was there a scheming, cheating ex-wife with a secret kid.
General Hospital spoilers indicate that Claudette will soon spill her big secret, but it remains to be seen if it is, in fact, a child she’s been raising as a single mom. We also wonder who will be on the receiving end of Claudette’s big confession about her secret.
Will she ask Griffin to act as her priest confessor once again? Claudette could tell Griffin knowing that he wouldn’t break the sacred seal of the confession to spill the truth to Nathan. Or will Claudette go to Nathan to try and stop his wedding while they sort this out?
Claudette sure seemed to want Nathan back – until she saw hunky former priest Griffin and then she was solely focused on him. That’s good news for Maxie except that Griffin has rejected her but how this works out for the four of them will largely depend on what Claudette is keeping secret.
