Fresh General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that Claudette Bolland (Bree Williamson) is still not being honest with Nathan West (Ryan Paevey) and Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) isn’t ready to buy that Charlotte is Nathan’s daughter.
Although Nathan assured Maxie that Claudette could not have rigged the paternity test, Maxie will remain skeptical. But once Nathan gets to meet little Charlotte in coming days, he’ll fall for the little girl he’s certain is his daughter – and he loves her in a big way.
Prior to this, Maxie was the end all and be all for Nathan. He loved Maxie more than anything, but now that the little girl is in his life and Nathan is certain he’s her daddy, everything changes. Nathan won’t appreciate Maxie’s ongoing paternity doubts.
This will drive a wedge between Nathan and Maxie. Although “Naxie” survived Damien Spinelli’s (Bradford Anderson) attempts to get back with baby mama Maxie and the return of Nathan’s ex Claudette and all her dirty secrets, this may be too much.
With this adorable little girl in the mix, Nathan won’t be so understanding. Once Nathan lays eyes on Charlotte, nothing will matter more to him than his little girl, not even Maxie. And her doubts about Charlotte’s paternity could sabotage their relationship.
This might finally break Naxie. Claudette would be thrilled to have Nathan back and if she sees that Charlotte is the means to drive Maxie out of Nathan’s life, she’ll likely take full advantage and try and drive the wedge deeper between the two.
Inevitably, Claudette will spend time with Charlotte and Nathan and will like the idea of them as a family. She’ll see that Nathan can keep her and Charlotte safe and that this could be her shot to win Nathan back.
Since Griffin Munro (Matt Cohen) has made it clear that he’s done with Claudette and nothing will change his mind about her, Nathan may seem like the best possible consolation prize.
But there is a chance that Maxie is at least partially right. Claudette did NOT fake the DNA results because you could see she was scared the test would come back that Nathan was NOT a match as Charlotte’s father. That means she didn’t rig it.
However, that doesn’t mean that Nathan is the dad. Claudette just revealed that her scary ex is Valentin Cassadine (James Stuart) and GH fans have long suspected that Nathan is Valentin’s son, so the paternity results could be skewed.

Nathan could be Charlotte’s brother instead of her father. There would still be a familial match if Valentin was the father of both. It will be interesting to see if GH takes this twisty and disturbing turn. We’ll find out in coming days!
