“General Hospital” (GH) spoilers tease that Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) may be correct that Dr Griffin Munro (Matt Cohen) is not the kind, gentle doctor that he seems. Did Griffin come to Port Charles with an agenda? Will he avenge his father’s death?
It sure seems like Griffin is being very forgiving about the mob slaying of his dad Duke Lavery (Ian Buchanan) – maybe too forgiving. Who wouldn’t be upset that someone killed their dad depriving them of the chance to get to know him?
And why has Griffin waited so long to reach out to Duke? Hmm… We only have Griffin’s word for it that he did NOT know Duke – and we still don’t have any real proof that he’s Duke’s son. Could Griffin be more than he appears? General Hospital spoilers ask is anyone in Port Chuck who they seem to be?
GH spoilers for Friday’s episode say Anna’s suspicions will soon be aroused when Griffin asks a lot of questions about Carlos Rivera’s (Jeffrey Vincent Parise) fate. Anna already has a guilty conscience for shooting Carlos – and so she’s on edge. But Anna also has keen cop sensibilities, so maybe she’s right that something is going on with Griff.
But what could it be? We know Griffin has a scar from a bullet wound. Does Griffin have a violent past we don’t know about that conflicts with how he presented himself since he came to Port Charles? Is Griffin in town for retribution?
GH spoilers ask will Griffin go after Carlos – or Julian Jerome (William deVry)? Based on how Griffin is behaving now, he doesn’t seem to be the kind of guy who would kill someone – but that may be a ruse. But if Anna is at risk because of Carlos, Griffin does seem like he would act be protective.
It seems fitting that Griffin would be the one to take down the men who took his father’s life. What would be really satisfying is if Griffin and Anna worked together to take down Julian and Carlos. Perhaps that’s why Griffin is asking Anna so many questions.
Maybe he’s trying to feel out if she’d be open to going after the bad guys with him to avenge Duke. Of course, Anna went that route once and now claims she wants Carlos to testify so Julian can be punished. But if Anna thinks Julian might evade justice (which he may), would she pull the trigger instead?
And, of course, Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) would be all for a revenge plan against Carlos and Julian. We know how Sonny is. We’ll soon see Sonny and Griffin bonding over their ties to Duke. Will Griffin also query Sonny to evaluate what he’s capable of – as he did with Anna?
