New General Hospital (GH) spoilers for the Friday, August 26 cliffhanger episode reveal a legacy character back to Port Charles, Sonny is furious, Heather makes a cash grab, Julian sinks into depression in jail, and Liz ponders stepping up her romance with Franco. Here’s what to expect.
Hayden Barnes (Rebecca Budig) finds someone packing to leave at Wyndemere and wants to know why. Looks like Naomi Dreyfus (Robin Riker) could be making a run for it after a visit to Heather Webber (Robin Mattson). General Hospital spoilers reveal Naomi gives Hayden bad news.
Heather knows that Hayden and Elizabeth Webber (Rebecca Herbst) are sisters and is ready to spill the secret if Naomi doesn’t pay up. The problem is, Naomi can’t afford to keep up with the extortion payments and knows the jig could be up soon.
Will Naomi run from Port Charles to avoid being there when the secret comes out – or can she find a way to keep Heather quiet? Franco (Roger Howarth) sees Naomi leaving her visit from Heather and wonders what that’s about.
Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) is furious about the antics of Alexis Davis (Nancy Grahn) that have made his daughter Kristina Corinthos (Lexi Ainsworth) front page news on a tabloid site. Sonny is livid and wants to know how Alexis is going to make this right.
But Alexis can’t un-ring that bell and make the article go away. Kristina will come home from Wesleyan fresh off her heartbreaking conversation with Parker Forsyth (Ashley Johnson) and this is an opportunity for Alexis and Kristina to make up after their explosive argument.
At the MetroCourt, Paul Hornsby (Richard Burgi) lunches with ex-wife Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot) and tells her he’s determined to make sure Julian Jerome (William deVry) rots in prison. Ava Jerome (Maura West) goes to see her brother at the PCPD lockup.
Ava doesn’t like what she sees – Julian is slipping into a depression and she encourages him to fight this but he can’t muster the energy. Ava will turn to Paul and try to work something out to help her brother avoid life behind bars, but what can Ava do?
Over at GH, Liz Webber (Rebecca Herbst) is thinking about a second date and tells Franco she’s looking forward to it, but things will turn ugly soon over the diamonds. After Liz reveals she has them, Hayden gives her sister a sound slap across the face.
Also at GH, Franco will go to Kevin Collins (Jon Lindström) for help getting his old job back. Since Kevin is head of the psychiatry department and Franco has been cleared of the GH serial killer charges, it does seem like nonsense that he’s been suspended.
Will Kevin help or is he too distracted because Laura Spencer (Genie Francis) walked out on him because she found out about the book he was writing about her? Laura is still reeling from that hurt when she gets a shock out at Wyndemere after a knock on the door.
Robert Scorpio (Tristan Rogers) is back in Port Charles and Laura is completely stunned that he’s in town. Robert will have a chat with Paul to ensure that Julian follows up on Anna Devane’s (Finola Hughes) wishes that Julian pay for his crimes.
