General Hospital (GH) spoilers for Wednesday, December 14 reveal that Jason Morgan (Billy Miller) and Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) have dug too deep into the bomb mystery and their investigation puts them in danger.
There’s a new bad guy (or gal) in town making mob trouble and when the pair of private eyes start showing Julian Jerome’s (William deVry) pic around, they wind up in danger. Is this the mysterious Oscar Jessup or a new force to be reckoned with?
Over at Ava Jerome’s (Maura West) place, she’s got Julian settled in and begs him to let her take care of him instead of Alexis Davis (Nancy Grahn) but Julian’s not hearing her. He wants Alexis at his beck and call but Ava is afraid of what Alexis might do.

Now that Ava knows Alexis ran Julian down, she’s not sure she can be trusted with his health. Alexis pours some booze in her coffee and heads over to do as she promised but can’t make herself walk through the door. Will Ava taunt Alexis and tell her she knows the truth about her?
Lulu Spencer (Emme Rylan) and Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) got to GH to meet with Griffin Munro (Matt Cohen) about a DNA test on Charlotte Cassadine (Scarlett Fernandez). That kid has had so many DNA tests run on her, she should get the next one free!
Griffin confirms that Lulu is the baby mama and Valentin Cassadine (James Stuart) is the baby daddy. Dante doesn’t like it, but facts are facts. The big question is whether Valentin was telling the truth about Helena Cassadine (Constance Towers) hijacking his sperm or if he’s part of the scam.
Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) is planning a baby shower for Sam Morgan (Kelly Monaco) and is frustrated that Sam won’t tell her the gender of their baby. Maxie pressures Sam who dangles the envelope from the doc in front of her but says she and Jason want a surprise.
Maxie won’t be able to contain herself. We all know that busy body will take a peek, right? Sam is going to be so mad at her when Maxie spills the beans at the shower. Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) chats up someone at the MetroCourt and asks if something happened.
But who is Carly talking to? Is it Nelle Hayes (Chloe Lanier) or someone else? Nelle makes a side trip to see Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) and tells him she’s glad to hear that he and Carly are patching things up. Did Nelle stop by to record Sonny again for even more evidence?
More will be revealed soon. Nelle’s box of trinkets make it look like she might have fallen on hard times. She’s got a silver rattle and expensive little statue of a poodle, so was she born with money then her parents went broke and that’s when they sold the kidney?
