New General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that Sabrina Santiago (Teresa Castillo) and Michael Quartermaine (Chad Duell) will soon hit the skids and it’s all about sexy Dr Joe Rivera (Jeffrey Parise). Can Michael keep Sabrina once Joe makes up his mind to take her from the Q hunk?
In coming days, Joe will play the “uncle” card to request visitation with baby Teddy. Sure Sabrina can allow Joe to spend time alone with Teddy but will she? Even though Joe is a pediatrician and knows how to care for a kid, she may be worried about her son and not want him to go off without her.
In fact, Joe may be using Teddy visitation as an excuse to spend more time with Sabrina but he also cares about the child since it’s all he has left of his twin brother Carlos Rivera. But Michael will be jealous and tell Sabrina that Joe is making a play for her and doesn’t care that much about Teddy.
Sabrina may be offended at the idea that Joe would use his baby nephew to get with her, but it’s the truth. Compared to Carlos, Joe is a saint in Sabrina’s eyes and she might not take kindly to Michael trash talking Teddy’s uncle, despite her affection for Michael.
If Michael reacts poorly and acts possessive – which he will since he’s a Corinthos at heart – it could push Sabrina into Joe’s waiting arms. General Hospital spoilers also tease that Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) will soon confront Joe and that will add fuel to the fire of this situation.
Sonny won’t like Joe because he’s wearing Carlos’ face and Sonny is still wrongly under the impression that Carlos shot him since Carlos took the truth to his grave. So it’s very likely that Sonny will lay into Joe for having a dirt bag twin brother although Joe himself is a good guy.
Sonny threatening Joe will also not leave a good impression on Sabrina. GH spoilers reveal that Sabrina and Michael will have a serious talk this week about their future. Will she tell him that Joe is Teddy’s uncle and will always be a part of his life? It’s doubtful that Sabrina would ask Joe to leave her alone.
Can Michael deal with this situation and the reality of having a romantic rival in Sabrina’s life – or is Michael too much like Sonny to deal with this with a level head? Sabrina was warned before that there is more to Michael than she has seen – a side with the potential for danger and violence.
That’s the last thing she wants in her life considering how violent Carlos was. Michael’s jealousy and intense dislike of Joe could kill his chances with Sabrina once and for all. Will Michael self-destruct and destroy his relationship with Sabrina before Joe can wreck it?
