General Hospital (GH) spoilers show the love triangle of Liz Webber (Rebecca Herbst), Griffin Munro (Matt Cohen) and Franco (Roger Howarth) heats up after Tom Baker (Don Harvey) is found dead and Franco is arrested as the prime suspect.
Liz already shared her concerns with Griffin about Franco’s need to protect and avenge her and said that, for Franco, “enough is never enough.” Griffin also stroked Liz’s ego when he said he sees her as someone that’s strong and doesn’t need protecting.

This heart-to-heart with Griffin and Liz went down just as Franco was tormenting rapist Tom in a cage and Liz almost caught him when she stopped by the art studio. Franco pledged he wouldn’t kill Tom and he won’t, but the bad guy winds up dead anyway.
On Monday, December 19, Tom’s brother Seth confronts Franco once he realizes his brother is missing. Franco has a strange dream on Tuesday, December 20 and makes a big decision. Meanwhile, Liz goes to see Heather Webber (Robin Mattson).

Liz is looking for reassurance that Franco is truly reformed but Heather doesn’t like Franco and Liz together and says disturbing things that have Liz worried about what Franco will do next. Some GH spoilers hint it’s Heather that killed Tom.
By Thursday, December 22, Franco decides he needs to come clean to Liz about luring Tom and caging him, but that same day, Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) reveals that Tom has been murdered and the PCPD is on the case.
On Monday, December 26, Dante finds the murder weapon used to kill Tom and it ties back to Franco just as Heather planned. She’s setting her son up in revenge for him revealing to the cops that she attacked Bobbie and Lucas.
Once news of Tom’s murder comes out, Liz is certain it’s Franco that killed the rapist. Franco threatened to kill him during their GH confrontation and Heather confirmed Liz’s worst fears when she came to visit her at Miscavige.
Franco will be arrested based on his threats and the murder weapon – Heather used something from Franco’s studio with his fingerprints on it when she killed Tom to makes it look legit. No one will believe Franco is innocent, not even Liz.
Griffin steps up for Liz in her time of need and that’s when their romance kicks off. GH fans know Liz can’t go long without a man. Other GH spoilers say Liz and Franco haven’t slept together by the time he’s arrested, so it’s easier for Liz to turn to Griffin.
Griffin is done being a priest and refused to hear Alexis Davis’ (Nancy Grahn) confession this week. Is former Father Griffin ready to play dad to Liz’s boys? He was intrigued by the idea that he had a daughter, then crushed when he found out he didn’t.
Liz and Griffin will start slowly, but by the time Franco’s name is cleared, Liz will have fallen for the former priest and things will be serious. Franco likes Griffin and knows he’s a good guy but won’t give up on Liz that easily.
She’ll have a choice to make that’s life-changing. Should she love the former priest or the former serial killer? Both men are handsome and complicated, both have done bad things in their past, but one more than the other. Who should she choose?
