General Hospital (GH) spoilers this week are talking about Lulu Falconeri (Emme Rylan) and her daughter Charlotte Cassadine (Scarlet Fernandez) and their less than perfect relationship. Lulu has all the reason to be upset with Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) for keeping Charlotte away from her and wants to make up for lost time.
So, Lulu visits Wyndemere and somehow convinces Charlotte to come with her for a little while for some holiday fun. Why would Charlotte want to go with a strange adult that she doesn’t know? Why would Valentin encourage his daughter to go when she is not comfortable? Don’t they know about stranger danger?
Anyway, off goes Lulu and Charlotte with promises of hot chocolate, Christmas tree lighting and all the good things that come with the holiday. Lulu uses Emma Drake (Brooklyn Rae Silzer) to make Charlotte a little more comfortable but while Lulu tries to convince Charlotte to spend time with her and Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) Charlotte asks to go home.
Suddenly Valentin shows up to check on his daughter after Nina convinces him to be concerned about Lulu; steps in between Lulu and Charlotte and decides to take his daughter home.
Lulu becomes furious with Valentine for cutting her time short with Charlotte and starts mumbling irrationally about suing for full custody. Dante tries to reason with her but she’s not going for it. All she can think about is missing all that time with her daughter and leaving Charlotte with him.
He has a history of being the worst of the Cassadines. Remember it was not too long ago that Valentin kept several hostages on Cassadine Island and forced Nikolas Cassadine (Nick Stabile) to sign over his vast fortune to him in return for letting the hostages go.
With a history like that and more, Lulu doesn’t trust Valentin and plans to take Charlotte from him. So, when Lulu gets to see Charlotte again, she convinces her daughter to take a little trip with her to find her mother Claudette Beaulieu (Bree Williamson).
Lulu thinks if she can spend time with her daughter she can ease into telling Charlotte that she is her real mother. Charlotte agrees to go with Lulu after some hesitation – and off they go to the Haunted Star but stay just long enough to get some cash and clothes.
Later on in the evening, when Valentin realizes his daughter is not being returned to him, he calls Dante and Lulu’s home. Dante answers and thinks Lulu is on her way to return Charlotte home but soon realizes that Lulu has kidnapped her daughter. Dante’s confused, how could Lulu leave him and their son Rocco (Mason Tannous)?
