General Hospital (GH) spoilers reveal that Nelle Hayes (Chloe Lanier) is planning an emotional fireworks show for New Year’s to make sure Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) starts 2017 with a big bang. The Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) cheating reveal is about to come out.
Nelle planned to manipulate Sonny for a while and keep him and Carly apart, but Sonny thinks he’s convinced Nelle to keep quiet. He wants Carly back and plans to use the holiday spirit to reunite with his wife and get their lives back on track.
Carly planned a big Christmas for the family at Sonny’s place and Nelle will be included since she’s seeing Michael Quartermaine (Chad Duell). Despite his talk with Nelle about being friends, Michael is falling for her and that’s not part of Nelle’s plan.
Sonny is forced to continue his lies about Nelle. He was left scrambling when Carly got the call from Atlanta about getting Nelle a job down there. But you know it was Nelle’s friend down South that made that call to expose Sonny’s meddling.
Carly feels like Sonny isn’t being honest, but the Christmas season lets her look past it. The day after Christmas, Sonny tries to convince Carly to come home. She just told Michael they’re not getting back together, but Sonny piles on the charm to win her back.
To seal the deal, Sonny asks Carly to spend New Year’s with him and she agrees but things go bad. Nelle sees that Sonny and Carly are close to reuniting and she can’t have that. She’s got an agenda to keep them apart and will do what she has to do.
Bobbie Spencer (Jacklyn Zeman) notices Nelle’s strange behavior and confronts her. Bobbie had her eye on her but Nelle keeps outsmarting her. Remember Nelle acted like she was stealing money from Carly’s purse to trick Bobbie into accusing her?
Nelle is clever. Bobbie thinks Nelle is up to no good, but she’s got no proof and Carly won’t listen to her. Carly considers Sonny’s offer to get back together but wonders if she’s in for more of the same or if he can truly change his way. Hint: he can’t!
Nelle won’t come right out and say that Sonny slept with her. She’s too devious for that. Nelle will talk to Sonny where she knows Carly can overhear. Nelle gets Sonny to admit it was his fault they hooked up and he will say it all where his wife can hear.
Then Nelle will make an even more shocking reveal that she’s pregnant. Sonny will believe her since he gets everyone one night stand pregnant. With one kidney, pregnancy is a big risk for Nelle’s health so it makes Sonny look five times as awful.
It’s important that Nelle looks like the victim so Carly doesn’t throw her out. Carly will be stunned and thinks Sonny took advantage of this poor girl that had her kidney stolen, slept with her while drunk, and got her into a life-threatening pregnancy.
Carly will take Nelle’s side and Sonny will be left out in the cold but Bobbie is still watching. How much longer can Nelle keep up her shady behavior? She’ll make sure to wreck the New Year’s Corinthos reunion and more of her plan will be revealed.
