General Hospital (GH) spoilers believe that Robin Scorpio (Kimberly McCullough) will be coming to Port Charles sometime soon. Robin is way out in California enjoying the weather with her husband Patrick Drake (Jason Thompson) and daughter Emma Drake (Brooklyn Rae Silzer). But something important is drawing Robin back to town.
Her mother Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) is waiting with anticipation to see her granddaughter Emma for the holidays. But Anna is also very busy trying to figure out what is going on with Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart). She is still struggling to uncover why Valentin is so familiar and what is his connection with WSB.
But what could be calling Robin to come back to freezing cold Port Charles? It’s not family and friends for the holiday, it’s more than that. With Robin’s medical background and an obvious genius in the laboratory, she’s probably coming back to help Hamilton Finn (Michael Easton) and Hayden Barnes (Rebecca Budig) with their incurable disease……god knows they need the help.
All GH knows, that in previous years, Robin has been a wiz in her field, whatever that field is. With her medical cures and breakthrough discoveries she certainly surpasses any other medical personnel in the hospital.
She’s cured Jerry Jacks (Sebastian Roche) of his secret illness, discovered a life renewing formula to bring back the frozen bodies of Jason Morgan (Steve Burton), Helena Cassadine (Constance Towers) and Stavros Cassadine (Robert Kelker Kelly) and it didn’t seem to be too difficult a job. Robin is certainly a shoe-in for this minor problem of Finn’s and Hayden’s. How could she possibly be denied the Nobel Prize for Medicine?
Soon after Robin arrives in Port Charles she understands that Finn is in need of some help. And because of the stupid lab rat Brad Cooper (Parry Shen), Hayden has now contacted the disease. But Finn caught this rare disease while he was traveling and he believes there is no cure; but has found a way to moderate the progression.
However, Finn’s medication is becoming less and less effective. So off to the lab Robin goes with Finn to work on the cure. Finn has already lost a loved one to this disease, will he lose another? But how long is the cure going to take? Can Robin be successful before Hayden dies? Hayden is just hanging on by a thread now, how much longer does she have?
How much longer will Finn be able to work with Robin? Finn and Hayden are both great characters, but are Finn or Hayden about to be written off the show by dying from this disease?
