General Hospital (GH) spoilers reveal that Dr Hamilton Finn (Michael Easton) will look guiltier than ever this week and could lose his job at GH over the serial killer debacle. Here’s a look at what’s coming for our favorite lizard-loving infectious disease specialist.
Remember Monica Quartermaine (Leslie Charleson) told Finn that she rushed his employment offer so he wasn’t put through proper pre-screening procedures. In particular, Monica wants him to take a drug test and that’s a bone of contention.
Dr Liesl Obrecht (Kathlee Gati) is furious that she was demoted to facilitate Finn’s hire and won’t stop until she takes him down. To that end, she dug up rumors about drug abuse at his prior position and Finn’s behavior doesn’t discount the theory.
We’ve seen him looking like he was in withdrawal – and shooting up the mysterious yellow substance – plus perusing the pharmacy closet at GH thanks to Felix DuBois’ (Marc Anthony Samuel) sloppy control procedures.
General Hospital spoilers reveal that Dr Obrecht finds more evidence that is reportedly “damning” that implicates Finn. But is it evidence of drug abuse or patient killing? Will Felix spill that he gave Finn access to the drug closet?
When Obrecht takes the information to Monica, the Chief of Staff will have no choice but to act on the information and things will get ugly. General Hospital spoilers reveal that Monica corners Finn and tells him he has to comply with the drug test order.
Finn doesn’t see it that way at all. He refuses to take the drug test so they are at an impasse. But is Finn in the wrong? Accusing him of having a drug problem in no way ties him to being a sociopathic patient killer, right?
But, then again, Monica can’t have a dope fiend treating GH patients, right? But is Finn really struggling with a drug habit? In fact, it doesn’t seem like Finn derives any pleasure from the drugs he takes.
What it looks like is that Finn is sick and the drug treats his symptoms. Could Finn have the same illness that killed his wife – and that he had devoted his life’s research to?
Remember Hayden Barnes’ (Rebecca Budig) father’s financial schemes wrecked the research funds. Did Finn contract the disease while working on a cure for his wife? Does Roxie the lizard tie into all this?
General Hospital spoilers indicate that the bottom line is that Monica can’t let Finn off the hook on the drug test. She’s getting too much pressure from loudmouth Dr O who is running around telling patients that Finn is a junkie.
Plus, there’s a police investigation mounting at the hospital so Monica can’t take the risk. She’ll suspend Finn in coming days. Dr Obrecht will feel triumphant that she’s beaten her foe, but Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot) will go ballistic.
Tracy will come at Monica furious for letting a killer roam the halls of GH while targeting Finn whom she sees a miracle healer. Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) will also likely raise hell over his suspension.
If Tracy and Carly join forces, things will get insane. GH spoilers tease that Tracy and an unlikely ally will team up to help Finn – and nothing is more unlikely than Tracy and Carly together.
