General Hospital (GH) spoilers reveal that Olivia Jerome is heading back to Port Charles. Tonya Walker, who originated the part back in the day, is reportedly in talks to reprise her role according to sources from Daytime Confidential.
The Oscar Jessup that has been threatening Julian Jerome (William deVry) is likely the henchman of mob mastermind Olivia. Both have been presumed dead since 1990, but it looks like they’ve been plotting revenge all this time.

Julian shot his sister in a Port Charles courtroom way back when to keep her from revealing secrets he was keeping about Duke Lavery (Ian Buchanan). She died at GH after being shot, but that doesn’t mean anything. Death is no obstacle on soaps.
Olivia’s return is critical to the bomb plot that killed Morgan Corinthos (Bryan Craig). Olivia hates her brother for shooting her and she was close to their madman father Victor Jerome who was ruthless, ambitious, and terrifying.
Olivia wants control of all Port Charles mob territory and the car bomb was her plan to kill Julian and blame Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) for it to get both out of her way. Unfortunately, Morgan died instead and Julian survived.
The other reason that Olivia’s return is great is because she hates Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) because Olivia was obsessed with Duke. It was Olivia that caused Anna to miscarry Duke’s child. Anna still hates that she never had a kid with Duke.
Anna would be furious to know that Olivia survived after all the horrible things she did to her and Duke. Jason Morgan (Billy Miller) and Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) are close to finding out who set the bomb on Julian’s car and it will lead them to Olivia.
The return of Olivia is bad news. She’s a mob boss in her own right and will stop at nothing to have revenge on those she blames for her downfall. Sonny and Julian could soon find themselves united against a common enemy that wants to take them both down.
We’ll find out soon that Olivia has been the source of blackmail against Julian for some time now and that when he threatened Alexis Davis’ (Nancy Grahn) life, he was trying to get her out of their house and out of town to protect her from the growing mob threat.
The problem now is Julian can’t defend himself or Alexis or his loved ones against his evil sister Olivia since he’s recuperating from Alexis running him down. Ava Jerome (Maura West) is a bad girl too, and you have to wonder if she’d take Julian’s side or Olivia’s.
Ava and Olivia are much alike but have never met one another. Ava loves Julian but she might find more common ground with Olivia. Bringing back Olivia pulls in many players to the plot – the mob, the cops, Anna, and even Griffin Munro (Matt Cohen) as Duke’s son.
