Gwen Stefani is bitterly jealous of Miranda Lambert’s booming career and upcoming tour according to some recent Internet reports. It looks as though Miranda Lambert is getting ready to kick of 2017 with a bang. The blonde country singer is about to embark on a rigorous tour schedule, with some reports already indicating that her shows will end up selling out fast.
And because of it, there’s speculation that Gwen Stefani might not be too pleased, considering how disastrous her own tour was this past summer when she failed to bring in packed crowds or fill in any seats during her tour stops.
According to reports, Miranda is scheduling an 18-date North American tour a month after having to postpone her 2016 tour due to vocal issues. The ‘Mama’s Broken Heart’ was cut short back in September because of Miranda’s vocal issues, in which she had to cancel three shows in her native Texas.
Her 2017 ‘Highway Vagabond’ tour will kick off in Evansville, Indiana, with stops scheduled for Providence, Rhode Island, Reading, Pennsylvania, Charlottesville, Virginia and more.
Miranda has already received glowing reviews for her first single, ‘Vice’ off her highly anticipated album, ‘The Weight of These Wings,’ which drops in mid-November. Most of the album chronicles her heartache over her 2015 divorce to ex-husband Blake Shelton.
If Miranda Lambert’s tour does end up selling out and becoming more successful than Gwen Stefani’s, than the ‘Hollaback Girl’ singer might as well consider her career to be over. Gwen’s popularity peaked well over a decade ago and fans have simply outgrown and moved on from her California girl punk image.
Just like Gwen, many of her fans are the same age as her with multiple kids, jobs and mortgages while younger fans simply aren’t interested in her. Her boyfriend Blake might have called her the Queen of Ska, but no one else seems to think so anymore.
