Is Jamie Foxx planning to put a ring on it? That’s what fans can’t help but wonder as Jamie and his alleged girlfriend, Katie Holmes, spent her birthday at an ultra private resort in Mexico this past weekend. Jamie didn’t want anyone to know about the trip and that’s why he took Katie on a private jet to the luxurious Las Vetanas al Paraiso in Cabo for a quick getaway.
Eyewitnesses say that Jamie did everything to make sure that he and Katie wouldn’t be spotted at the resort. One insider told Us Weekly, “They stayed in one of the most private suites at the hotel, separate from other guests and entered by a small path. They wanted to be very discreet and had everything delivered to their room and taken care of by a personal butler.”
What’s more, sources say that it was the first time that Katie and Jamie were able to spend a weekend on their own. Even though the media has been speculating about their romance for months now, Jamie doesn’t want them to come out as a couple. That’s why he took Katie to Mexico for an ultra private trip to celebrate her birthday.
In fact, Jamie is so serious about taking their relationship to the next level that he’s even planning on proposing to Katie. Yet, once Jamie proposes to Katie he knows that he won’t be able to hide their relationship for very long. The truth will come out sooner rather than later.
Plus, sources say that Katie is tired of hiding the truth and dodging questions from the media. She has to jump through hoops just to see him. Friends and family say this is the happiest Katie has been in years but, at the same time, she’s completely stressed about having to hide their romance.
Yet, Jamie hates it when the tabloid media talks about his personal life. He’s even refused to reveal the identities of his ex-girlfriends and baby mamas. That’s why friends and family say Katie is hoping things will change the moment she and Jamie tie the knot.
