Derick Dillard just confirmed what we have all suspected for months, 19 Kids And Counting star Jill Duggar is most definitely pregnant with baby number two. Jill and her husband Derick have been on a mission trip in El Salvador for months now with their young son. Fans and critics have been cyber stalking the couple’s social media pages, certain that Jill Duggar was hiding a baby bump.
Well, Jill is not hiding her bump anymore. Derick Dillard took to Instagram this week and posted a photo of his wife teaching what appears to be a small class of students in El Salvador. Jill is standing front and center and reading from a book – wearing a T-Shirt, and a skirt. But, the part of the photo that has grabbed everyone’s attention is the burgeoning baby bump poking out. Sure, it may just be a bad angle, or Jill could have had a really, really big lunch … but we doubt it.
The 19 Kids And Counting couple is obviously trying to downplay the pregnancy and keep it out of the spotlight for one reason … Zika. The Zika Virus has everyone up in arms these days. And, El Salvador is one of the most affected regions in the world. It has gotten to the point that women are actually being advised not to get pregnant in Central America until they get the virus under control or at least learn more about it and how/if you can treat it.
What’s so bad about the Zika Virus? Well, aside from the fever and rashes, if a pregnant woman is infected with Zika Virus, there is a very high chance that the mosquito carried virus will cause a slew of birth defects and possibly even miscarriages.
19 Kids And Counting fans are already up in arms over Jill Duggar’s pregnancy – and whether or not she or her new baby could be infected with the Zika Virus. What do you think?
