Kate Middleton Awarded Prestigious Wimbledon Championship Patronage, Camilla Parker-Bowles Furious Over Snub

Has Kate Middleton been awarded the prestigious Wimbledon Championship patronage? Is Camilla Parker-Bowles furious that she was snubbed? As Queen Elizabeth’s 90th birthday approaches concerns for Her Majesty’s health have increased. Perhaps it has been recommended that Her Majesty reduce her workload?

It is believed that Queen Elizabeth wishes to lighten a quite heavy workload and has decided to pass along two patronages. Later this year the Duchess of Cambridge, the Sunday Times reports, may become Queen Elizabeth’s representative of the All England Lawn Tennis & Croquet Club. The organization hosts the yearly Wimbledon tennis championships.

Prince Philip entrusted his beloved RAF Air Cadets patronage to the Duchess of Cambridge just before Christmas 2015. Have the Royal grandparents-in-law come to trust Princess Kate implicitly over the years, favoring Prince William’s wife over the reviled Camilla Parker-Bowles?

We don’t see Queen Elizabeth or the Duke of Edinburgh turning over any patronages to Camilla Parker-Bowles. In all fairness, the Duchess of Cornwall isn’t getting any younger and added responsibilities probably wouldn’t be prudent – no to mention that the British public hate her for what they see as her ruining Princess Diana’s life.

Kate Middleton is a regular attendee at Wimbledon, often times with Carole Middleton and Pippa Middleton in tow. Sometimes the Duchess of Cambridge and Prince William watch the matches from the Royal box. Seems as if the All England Lawn Tennis & Croquet Club is a perfect match for Kate Middleton.

It seems probable that Queen Elizabeth will pass on another favored patronage to Prince Harry. The fifth-in-line to the throne is obviously a tremendous Rugby fan, so it stands to reason Queen Elizabeth would pass along the Rugby Football Union to Harry.

Prince Harry is already vice-patron and in 2015 he served as honorary president of the World Cup. Queen Elizabeth became patron of the rugby union governing body in England in 1951, just one year before she was crowned Queen.

There have been whispers that Queen Elizabeth is suffering from severe gastritis. Stress is one of the causes of the inflammation. Reducing Her Majesty’s workload will hopefully lessen the stress in Queen Elizabeth’s life. Meanwhile the internecine war between Kate Middleton and Camilla Parker-Bowles heats up.
