Kate Middleton probably isn’t at all interested, but a cash-strapped Sarah Ferguson is selling her $150,000 Bentley. The luxury car was a gift from ex-boyfriend Geir Frantzen. Oh, and the Duchess of York has applied for Swiss residency.
Le Nouvelliste was able to sit down with Fergie and dig a little deeper into this moving to Switzerland deal. Apparently Sarah just loves, loves, loves the little “chic resort village” of Verbier in canton Valais and has since her teen years.
Sarah vacations in Valais several times a year and just really enjoys the “simplicity, generosity and welcoming attitude of people in Valois.”
The Swiss are kind and generous to the Duchess of York, that’s it! Simplicity? When has Fergie ever enjoyed the simple things in life? Duchess Sarah’s life of luxury has left the former Royal nearly bankrupt.
Over the years ex-husband Prince Andrew has reportedly showered Fergie with gifts even after the Royal couple’s divorce. And when the Duke of York wasn’t quite so generous Duchess Sarah has found a rich boyfriend who was more than willing to buy the redhead lots of expensive goodies.
Not long ago it was reported that Sarah had hired a top-notch talent management firm Kruger Cowne because Fergie would like some voice over work, a few speaking engagements and endorsement deals if at all possible. A few paid television interviews would be nice as well.
British taxes can be crippling, so one wonders if Sarah Ferguson’s application for residency has anything to do with money. When doesn’t it have to do with cash when it comes to the Duchess of York? Fergie will do just about anything for a buck.
Does that include making a permanent home outside of the United Kingdom? Is Duchess Sarah making a move to protect what assets she has left?
We’re not really certain where the sale of the Bentley figures into all this – maybe it costs $150,000 for the Swiss residency application. But how rude is it to sell such an expensive gift? Shouldn’t you at least offer to return the pricey car?
Kate Middleton must be appalled with the Duchess of York’s continued greed. After all, if you divorce a Prince or a Duke you get what you deserve right? The Duchess of Cambridge has learned well from the mistakes of her predecessors!
Will Sarah Ferguson eventually renounce her British citizenship and become a Swiss citizen? Wouldn’t that be something? The mother of British Princesses Beatrice and Eugenie no longer a Royal subject?
