Kate Middleton is stuck in the middle of a family war between her mother, Carole Middleton, and Prince William’s father and step-mother, Prince Charles and Camilla Parker-Bowles – all of the squabble is over access to Prince George and Princess Charlotte, and things are getting ugly. All of the royals, especially Camilla Parker-Bowles, despise commoner Kate’s pushy mother especially in regards to her greedy attitude towards her royal grandchildren.
Kate Middleton and Prince William’s children, Prince George and Princess Charlotte, are the source of a family feud between Prince William’s father, Prince Charles, and Kate Middleton’s mother, Carole Middleton.
According to a Life & Style source close to the royals, “Kate Middleton’s mom and Prince William’s dad go head-to-head in a bizarre battle over their grandchildren. Though the royals seem to have a fairy-tale life, behind the scenes a war has broken out between the Middleton family and William’s parents… With hurt feelings on both sides, an estrangement is growing — and Kate is caught in the middle.”
The feud centers on Carole Middleton who has been bonding with both Prince George and Princess Charlotte, and Prince Charles and Camilla Parker-Bowles’s jealousy of the relationship the grandmother has with her grandchildren.
According to the source, Prince Charles and Camilla Parker-Bowles “feel excluded from [Princess] Charlotte and [Prince] George’s lives. Prince Charles is furious about it.”
Prince Charles has not been given as much access to the little Royals as Carole Middleton,and this exclusion is not because of an uncontrollable factor such as conflicting schedules or official responsibilities.
Whatever the reasons, both Prince William and Kate Middleton are distraught over the feud between their parents and are trying desperately to mend fences: “[Prince]William hates drama so he asked Kate to speak to her mother. Everyone hopes they can put this rift behind them for the sake of the kids… The last thing [Kate] wants is for the war to escalate.”
A disagreement involving her children could be the reason behind Kate Middleton’s recent comments that she would send her children to a therapist, if need be. As Prince George and Princess Charlotte get older, they are bound to become aware of the tension between their grandparents and may need a professional’s guidance in dealing with their emotions.
Hopefully, Prince Charles and Camilla Parker-Bowles can set aside their jealousy and establish as strong a relationship with their grandchildren as Carole Middleton has.
